As a former cosmetologist I know exactly what to ask for and she absolutely delivered. She gave me about a two in trim and did a beautiful job at blowing out my hair with the round brush. They booked me with Jade O. (there are two Jades) Jade O. is a sweet girl and greeted me appropriately and professionally. Not ''hey, you ready?" lol SHe introduced herself and said Nice to meet you. Her consultation was very thorough and she wasn't annoyed with all my concerns or questions. Being a first timer, I was a little picky on just a few little things and I made her aware of them. She was forthcoming with info and she even explained why she would do this or that. I appreciated that very much. My hair turned out great! The appointment took longer than expected, but I'll still be returning. I am very happy with my hair.....color, cut, and style! The salon itself is very nice and cozy. I have always been intimidated by huge over the top fancy salons. This place was perfect. Cozy, clean, professional, and nice decor. Back to shopping....The color was not on the shelf, but she said don't worry, we just got stock in and I know we have some somewhere. I understand the need to get customers but I'm surprised that the Mall lets people run around the Mall thoroughfares and physically accost girls by forcibly putting makeup on their faces. Kinda shocking. Some people like it, but I get the feeling most people don't, cuz the majority of people I know are consistently complaining about this kind of thing in some malls. So my suggestion would be that they ask such stores to not employ such tactics, but then maybe it's the only way they stay in business, how do I know. Perhaps they can offer them financial incentives to not do this, then the Mall gets to be a better place to shop, and the store doesn't lose much money. I personally am way more likely to take Barbie to a place that doesn't employ this tactic.
