Barely see it but it's there

Not gonna leave a long review. Food was decent up until I found a long hair in it. It was like mixed in my toppings or something.

BAIT & SWITCH! Lies and maybe even fraud (pic attached) I have to give one star in order to write a review, otherwise it would give nothing. Yesterday evening (Friday Nov.3) we tried to make an order online using a coupon that we received in the mail the day before. The coupon had a code which would not work (on the app, or website), so my husband decided to call in to ask what's up and hopefully use the code. Firstly, we waiting on hold for 30 min and were hung up on 3 times. When someone finally answered my husband explained the situation with the coupon and the employed told us that they "don't accept the coupon anymore and they are no longer a five star restaurant"....I don't even know what that means, but my husband said, "oh yep, they are lying, the don't want to honor it". I doubted that, but anyway, we didn't make the order. After a little discussion I decided to call back on my phone and finally got a person and explained the situation again. This employee decided to ask the manager (after several questions about said coupon which she seemed to know nothing about). The manager said, yep it doesn't work online, lol, and that we could make the order over the phone and then he would take the coupon when we pick up. He specifically didn't say he would honor it, he just said he would look at it. So this means we would have to pay full price FIRST and then go in and see if they would honor, which I'm gonna guess would have been a big NO because blah blah BS reasons. I really think this is false advertising and I also think that it may be illegal. The chaos and unprofessionalism at this location is outstanding. They can't even manage to take all the orders over the phone and have no problem hanging up on customers....who does that?? They literally make less money because of the incompetence of their staff and management, and are not able to handle a busy night....and they don't even have Dine-In service!! AND to top it off they send out coupons which they have NO intention to honor! So ya, they lost a weekly customer. It's just insane to me how dishonest people can be. Sad times. And yes, I read the small print..."participation may vary"....but dammit don't send your junk mail to my house in Sumter, with the location listed on it (Broad St.) and then not honor it!!!

Awesome pizza! I've dined in twice, the pizza is piping hot, right out of the oven, and it is excellent!

Not a fan of the pizza of cheesy bread. Did not like the marinara sauce. Was really pricey also. We will not be returning.

Eat here! Folks,…read morethis is a decent family place with delicious and unique offerings from both Germany and Italy. Regrettably, I've only been twice and both times, my entire party went for the German so we'll limit the scope of our review to that. It should be noted, however, that some New Englanders I know were very happy with their pizza from here. Ok, onto the review: 1) Food: it's all great. They start you off with some garlic bread which is obviously homemade dough. It's great. We ordered the Curry Brats starter which is a quality german style sausage that has been nicely browned. It's served with a unique curry mustard which balances the dish perfectly with some acidity and spice. As for mains, I tried pieces of the Sauerbraten, the Jaeger Schnitzel, and I ordered the Rahm Schnitzel for myself. It was all delicious and my party (normally lighter eaters) cleaned their plates. The only questionable trend with the mains is that most things come out very lightly salted. To me, that's actually a good thing so you can salt to your liking or enjoy the dishes without feeling all salted up. For sides, I've had the Spätzle (a german style pasta browned in butter) and the rotkohl (red cabbage). Both are exactly what I hope for at a German restaurant. Delicious. The side salads were fresh. 2) Service: everyone is nice and expedient. I doubt they'll hesitate to fill any request you make. The owner even wandered out to the patio to see what we thought. You can tell they really care about their customers. 3) Ambiance: the joint really reminds me of a small neighborhood restaurant you would see in a town in Southern Germany. It's decent ambiance. The only thing that could be a bit better here is price but this is not a good economy we're in here. You'll probably pay around $15 a head but you will leave full and possibly even with leftovers (assuming you eat like a normal person not a pro bodybuilder). Okay, that's my review. Sorry for forgetting photos. I feel like a teenage girl taking food pics.

I've been here multiple times and did not like it. This trip was no different. We had a large group of 16 and it started there. Was told a 2hr wait. If we split in to groups of 8 we'd be seated in 45. Took this option. Actually got seated in about 25 minutes seperately. (A table of 8 that was right next to us was vacant and NEVER got used for the entire 90 minutes or so that we stayed at the restaurant so why not accommodate our group? - strike one) Our waitress I'm told was very chippy with an attitude toward some party members. (I didnt get any attitude toward me) but heard a few people stating how she was answering people's requests and how unpleasant she was. - Strike two. The food. I ordered the meatloaf nachos (which were good). I also ordered the fried pork chops w/ side salad. Loading up on fake bacon bits (like 1000 pieces) doesnt make the salad better. This is a hint to their kitchen. The pork chops were dry and the "red skinned" mash potatoes" (which I do not remember the menu stating that they were red skinned potatoes which would mean SKIN would be present in the mash. Otherwise I would not have ordered this. ALSO, their baked beans.......this was the worst part of the meal. I am expecting some version of beans with a bbq base or similar...instead I got some sort of bean SOUP which was totally inedible in my opinion. Whole meal was trash. Strike three. My 83 year old father said at the end of the meal "worst meal I've ever had". Which I had him repeat to the table just in case anyone thought it was just me. $700 with tip for the quality is a bit much. I will never ever return no matter what my siblings say.
