I've lived in Grand Rapids area for over 10 years and I just discovered Marco's on Door Dash during COVID. It is the BEST pizza I've ever had in the area (and I've tried ALOT). Unique specialty pizzas, different types of crusts with several flavors, and the breadsticks are amazing too! Will definitely be back!

My 100th review is Marco's!! We tried to go to a different restaurant on a Saturday and the wait was too long, so we thought we'd try somewhere else and found Marco's. I'm kind of a pizza snob, so I tend to classify two different pizza classes, Fast Food/commercial Pizza (Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Hungry Howie's etc..) and the Mom and Pop or higher end pizza places. Marco's is the former type IMO, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. We had a really nice time. We walked in and were greeted as soon as we walked in, the cashier explained everything and was patient while we decided what we wanted. While we waited the other staff was friendly and the place was clean. The food came out hot and exactly to our order. For fast food pizza it was very good, better than most. It seems like they take a little more time and care in to their preparation that other places. If I'm ever in there area I'd be happy to repeat my visit.

Absolutely disgusting! Not at all like New York Pizza! Tasteless, dry and has an awful aftertaste. GROSS!

We have had some really nice pizzas from Marco's. We will definitely go back. We order ours with extra sauce and thin crust.

He makes his own sausage, lasagna. He also makes his own chicken for subs and pizza. Everything is excellent here. The family atmosphere is amazing. They do not have dine in since Covid hit. My favorite is his Sicilian (sausage, banana pepper and bacon), and the Barbecue Chicken pizza (which come with onion and bacon). My pizza was given to me with the warning that the bottom of the box was still very hot. It was still plenty warm when I arrived home 30 minutes later. The crust was perfect, you could use the outer crust like breadsticks. Great amount of toppings, just the right amount of sauce, and the ordered addition and change of toppings were done flawlessly. The owner told me 3 times how long they had been open with pride. I agree, great spot I will return to, as should you. Recommended

We've gotten plenty of takeout from Quarantino's over the years, but only recently stopped by to dine in. We were greeted right away and got to choose a nice booth by the window. The menu is concise and features their delicious Detroit style pizza. I was starving so we ended up ordering quite a bit to have leftovers - the kale Caesar salad, one of the weekly feature pizzas, and the Quarantino's deluxe. The salad is one of my favorites - it's made with curly kale and topped with crunchy kettle potato chips. It's always good and makes for great leftovers because it's so hearty. Our pizzas came out shortly after our salad was finished and they were delicious. Their crust is perfection - fluffy but chewy and crispy in the right places. I personally love their red sauce the most because it's savory, and not overly sweet. The toppings on the deluxe were plentiful and high quality. The special pizza rotates weekly(ish) and this one had 'nduja, ramp aioli, and shredded potato. Plus lots of cheese. Their specials are always inventive and sound so tasty. Our server was super fun and awesome to chat with. I really liked him, he brought such a big smile to my face. I am so glad we finally got to have the dine in experience at Quarantino's and we'll be back for their mid-week pizza, pasta, salad deal!

The Foolery came up on Yelp and figured we could not go wrong with pizza to feed our starving children. They have a great selection of Detroit style pizzas here. We didn't feel like being adventurous so went with the pepperoni. I've always loved Detroit style pizzas due to the thicker crust that's crispy on the sides and The Foolery passed the assignment. Pizza was really good! And as a Chicagoan, that means a lot! The size of the pizza is a little small - but you get 6 slices so if you're hungry or got a big group to feed, I would plan accordingly. Remember Detroit style is a rectangle pie, not circular like a standard whole pizza. We got the Elote dip as an appetizer and it was a clever take on one of my favorite Mexican snacks. It came with elote corn and chips on the side. Like I said, clever and not bad! Our server that day was awesome. We had a group of about 13 people and they just had small pub tables that fit 4 people each. But no problem because he was willing to organize the whole front room and put 4 of those tables side by side to accommodate all of us. He did it happily and without complaints. Our food did take some time to come out, but that's ok. I was amongst great company and had a good drink in hand, we were out of town and all was good. I would come here again.

We could not hear each other at all, even almost yelling, so we really couldn't talk. If you're going to eat and vibe, might be the place for you but to go eat, it was a bit extreme. Also they have "$3 beers" after 9 and it was just PBR. All others were regular price. Marketing was a bit misleading there.
