The staff are also friendly, professional, and caring. I am retired military and needed care closes to home. Dr. Button and his staff are as professional and caring as the military medical staff are. My wife and I are very happy with the care that we both receive at Button Family Practice. Appointments are fast to obtain and they work within your time frame as often as possible. They made me make a second appointment for the same prescription for a new doctor at their practice. Then they did it again after an appointment that I had to do labs after for. When I did labs they called me and told me to get another appointment plus annual exam for the prescription I already completed with the doctor who quit. Jana, the office manager told me that she would give me a temporary prescription but not the full prescription because she wanted to bill my insurance for the annual wellness exam. How can an office manager tell me I cant have a prescription? She didnt even ask the doctor to look at the appointment notes or the labs and said she would only let them do a temporary prescription. Not what I went to them for. Not what me and the actual doctor agreed to. Not the reason I got labs. She accused me of being rude when I told her I should take my business elsewhere. Clearly trying to create a narrative of an angry unreasonable customer. She feels untouchable I guess. I will update this review if the business contacts me. If youre still reading, it means they made no attempt to make anything right. A business is not their most rude or incompetent employee unless they allow it to go unchecked. This is very unethical to hold a prescription hostage so they can charge insurance for additional services.

Very sad she's not set up to get to know her patients. Also. When moving be aware they do not review your prior medical records and want to tell you you need procedures that have been done and insurance won't cover because it's too soon.

Wife received NO call telling her they cancelled her appointment and would refuse to see her. NOW wife has no doctor and her prescriptions are running out! CAN'T believe Centura would allow this! The office experience has changed considerably. The front desk employees are now very accommodating. The care I now received is some of the best I have had. The nurses and other employees seem to enjoy their job now. Things have obviously changed for the good there. Dr. Payne treats me with respect and appears to value my opinions. She also appears to understand me which helps me relate my health issues. I highly recommend her as a health care provider. I have mentioned to others that I know, how Valley Wide in Canon City has evolved for the good.

When I tried to have the issue rectified they asked me to come in again basically charging me and my insurance another visit and refused to issue the correct RX. I am diabetic and these medications are a requirement for me. I would steer clear of this practice as it's staff holds no regards for its clients Update: after a week I went into the office for answers I was told I was left a voicemail stating I could take my current rx and watch my blood sugars closely and come in when the rx was over. I got in trouble because I was calling because I was in pain , and I was trying to find out where my medications were called into. Part of my meds were called into a pharmacy I don't use. Then metamorphosis decided not to do the second part of the procedure. I've been in a lot of pain because they will not finish the procedure and now I am struggling
