We purchased outdoor carpet through Home Depot in April, with ACS South assigned to handle the installation. What followed was months of delays, more than six reschedules, missed work, wasted PTO, poor communication, and ultimately a complete failure to install the carpet at all. Our installation was rescheduled more than six times. Each time, we rearranged our lives around the dates we were given. I had to take time off work and use valuable PTO based on installation appointments scheduled through this process. PTO is earned compensation. Those are hours we should have been able to use for vacations, family obligations, illness, or emergencies, not waste sitting at home because an installation company repeatedly could not complete a job as scheduled. Then came Wednesday, July 1. Two installers arrived at our home, but we immediately encountered a serious communication problem: neither installer could communicate with us in English well enough to discuss the installation issue. This became especially important because they then indicated they could not complete the job. To be very clear, the issue is not what language the workers speak. The issue is that ACS South sent a crew into a customer's home without ensuring there was an effective way for the installers and customer to communicate about the work, the problem preventing installation, or what would happen next. When a crew is entering someone's property to perform contracted work, basic communication is essential. That is ACS South's responsibility. Because we could not effectively communicate, we ultimately had to use a translation app just to understand what was happening with our own installation. After waiting since April and enduring more than six reschedules, we were standing in our own home using technology to bridge a communication gap that ACS South should have anticipated and managed. Through that communication, we were told they could not complete the installation that day and that they would return Thursday, July 2. So once again, we relied on what we were told. Once again, we arranged our work schedules. Once again, we made ourselves available. Thursday, July 2 came. They never showed up. No completed installation. No crew returning as promised. Just another wasted day after months of delays and repeated disruptions to our jobs. At that point, we were done. We canceled the entire carpet order and received our refund from Home Depot. Think about the full timeline: We purchased the carpet in April. The installation was rescheduled more than six times. We repeatedly rearranged work schedules. On July 1, a crew arrived but could not complete the job. ACS South had not ensured that the crew and customer could effectively communicate about the installation problem. We had to rely on a translation app to understand what was happening. We were told they would return July 2. They did not show up. We ultimately canceled a carpet purchase we actually wanted because continuing to deal with this installation process was no longer worth the disruption. This was not one isolated mistake. It was a months-long pattern of operational failure. More than six reschedules are not a minor inconvenience. Repeatedly causing customers to miss work is not acceptable. Sending a crew without ensuring effective customer communication is not acceptable. Telling a customer the crew will return the next day and then failing to show up is not acceptable. Home Depot should be deeply concerned that ACS South is representing its brand in customers' homes. Customers purchasing installation services through Home Depot reasonably expect competent scheduling, reliable appointments, effective communication, and a crew capable of addressing issues that arise on site. We received none of that. I would never use ACS South again. I would never recommend ACS South. And if Home Depot ever assigned this company to another project at my home, I would immediately demand a different installer. Our documented experience was months of delays, more than six reschedules, lost time, missed work, a crew unable to effectively communicate with us about the job, a failed installation attempt on July 1, a promise to return July 2, a no-show, and ultimately no carpet at all. That is not customer service. That is a complete failure from beginning to end. ACS South should be embarrassed by this record, and Home Depot should seriously reconsider why customers are being subjected to it.

NEVER EVER AGAIN! The first attempt by his workers resulted in over 100 blotches in the floor (see photos). We demanded his return and his crews came back and redid the floors, but this time areas were missed and in other areas the polyurethane was not spread out and it dried to clumps. We asked John over the course of 3 months to come back and make corrections. Every excuse was given and then he stopped responding. While the floors were being worked on (before we moved in), we had moved some expensive tools and equipment into a room on a different floor and on the opposite side of our house. Afterwards we noticed that 2 tools were missing. Coincidently, our security cameras captured John Blessing workers going through our refrigerator and freezer taking items out. We also found a length of wood veneer used by his workers to make a transition from the existing floor to where the new flooring meets in the same far away room where the tools were stored and there was no reason at all to be in that part of the house. Could there be a link between workers being caught on camera going through possessions and the missing items? I brought this to Johns attention and he said his workers would never do this, even though the camera does not lie and leaving flooring materials behind were tools went missing begs to differ. Lastly, there is a lump under the vinyl plank flooring in the kitchen floor. The video also showed the worker noticing this and rather than making corrections, they proceeded to keep applying the floor and left the lump in place. We were robbed in many ways and we caution anyone from using this company. There are dozens of other companies that you can use. Please learn from our experience.

Danny is honest, professional, fair, and genuinely a good person. He and his team finished the wall in no time and it looked amazing. For the past 7 years, if I need something done.. I call Danny. He has completed drywall, refinished my wood floors, repaired my ceiling, fixed sinks, doors, installed a fence, and just completed my back patio. What I appreciate about Danny and his team is the fact he takes the time to talk things out, brainstorm, and find the most reasonably priced route. And EVERYTHING that man and his team has completed for me in 7 years is still standing. I have not had one issue with the jobs he has completed. Honestly, he has fixed jobs that I had done when I first moved into my house. I am kicking myself that I did not call him first! If Danny says he will start on Saturday, he will start on Saturday. He communicates with me during the entire project. OH! AND HE CLEANS UP AFTERWARD!!! UNHEARD OF! So if you want a job completed where you do not have to go back to get it fixed again - and you want punctual, professional, courteous, respectful, transparent, fairly priced, QUALITY work done? Danny. Danny is the way to go. One day he joked "Never fear, Danny's here." Super true statement because I have never had a doubt in seven years. no notes
