Used to go this movie theater a lot when it was Icon but when other theaters introduced recliner chairs, Icon definitely became one of my least favorite theaters. When I heard Marcus was purchasing Icon, I was kind of excited however I recently came to see a movie for TC film fest & was very disappointed. Almost nothing has changed. Actually worse than what I remember. Concessions were a ghost town. I ABSOLUTELY hate that they use paper bags for the popcorn. Hearing people wrestling with the bags during the movie was annoying af! We also ran up to the bar prior to our movie. We had about 15 min. There was one bartender and they either hate their job or just terrible service. I get people have rough days that we don't know about and idk what it was but it was definitely something going on. We stood where there was an opening around the bar as there were a couple of people sitting up there. The bartender intentionally ignored us for over 10 min. We ended up socializing with other patrons about the lack of service and they noticed we were being ignored as well. When we finally got the chance to order our drinks, bartender took forever to make them. We closed our tab as soon as we could to try to make our movie on time. When we walked into the theater it was a horrible smell. Actually multiple smells going on. Seeing that the seats are still cloth and stained was also disappointing. Looks like they've never been cleaned, probably hard to clean them but definitely needs a deep cleaning. Seats lean back a little bit but definitely takes some pressure to keep it back otherwise it springs you back forward. I just had higher hopes, it was definitely a let down all around.

What a treat and great way to start the holiday season with a Christmas movie. There was even a Santa reunion with over 50 Santas that came to watch the movie as well. Their concession stand had everything from candy, popcorn, drinks to cheeseburgers and pizza. The seats were very comfortable, the sound was on par and quality of picture fantastic. This theater is surrounded with a nice outdoor mall that has restaurants and stores to peruse before or after a movie. I highly recommend coming here for a night out.

Went here for an advanced screening of The Red One. The screen was great and huge and their candy selection was quite nice. Not surprisingly, concessions were super expensive. I wanted to get food, but it was way too much money. The lobby and concession area are not set up super well and it ends up being a bit of a bottleneck problem when there is a large group of people. The seats were a little uncomfortable, but I will say the aisle space and foot room was probably the best I've seen. When people left, there was enough room that you don't have to stand up to let them through. The staff were nice too. All in all, not a bad theater, but not the best one either.

Favorite hang-out. Large and varied movie selections. Friendly helpful staff. Fun lobby experience. Nice food offerings if you're into that and upstairs bar. Easy online booking and cancellations.

The theater is dirty. Men's room was partially flooded. Previews were of past movies opening months ago. I much prefer the Willow Creek.

Even if you purchase tickets online they want you to scan them in on the kiosk. Concessions seemed to be closing down as I got there. There were 2 employees just standing around. My movie was in screen 3 upstairs, I took the escalator up, but needed to use the bathroom before the movie started, which the sign said was upstairs. If you take the escalator up you have to go back down stairs to the bathroom - it's halfway between floors I guess. The upstairs is 'The Shining themed'. Very cool. When I walked into the theater I had to double check my ticket. It was so messy, popcorn all over the floor, under seats, on seats, left behind trash, just a mess. Looked like they hadn't cleaned all day or a few days.. that's crazy before it's only like 4 screens here. The seats are upgraded to heated recliners which is nice but I found that you really had to look up because the seats are on a slant vs risers. But super grateful for the comfortable seats.

The entry way is nostalgic and calm, you buy a ticket on a self service kiosk, then head to the concessions. I got a small popcorn, loaded it up with butter and salt then headed upstairs to the theatre. The elevator ride up is so special as you pass into the gold bar! What a cool unique aspect to a movie theatre. Then I found my seat just as the movie was beginning and to my delight the chairs were incredibly comfortable, with reclining features as well as heated seats! Much better than the seats at amc theatres. I'll be coming back to the Edina theatre solely because of the comfort level -- oh and tickets were cheaper here than they would have been at AMC.

Excellent!! I grew up in this neck of the woods and this complex just....appeared!…read more I was just back in MN for the day and went to this theater with a friend. There is huge parking structure which is free (at least on a Friday night), a lot of different hip restaurants to dine at prior, and nice shopping (think: Anthropologie). This is a an above par theater that has you pick your seat yourself when you buy your ticket. I love this feature, because then there is no rush to sit down. All around, very quality. This theater is part of the development called "Shops at West End" in St. Louis Park. From the website..."The Shops at West End is an exciting mixed-use development located in the heart of Minneapolis in the highly affluent St. Louis Park neighborhood...[and] is centrally located and easily accessible off two major highways, I-394 and Highway 100."

Wow, this place blows…read more Let's see... we show up 9 minutes after showtime for Avatar (which had been out for months at this point) and the ticket office wouldn't let us into the movie because the previews last only 7 minutes, which was emphasized to us. Ok, so big deal, so we decide on a different movie and get to the concession stand and everything is WAY overpriced.. even more so than the average movie theatre. There's 25 cent charge for real butter. Icee's are still 5 bucks but are the size of a sippy cup. They have a "VIP" bar, which was a good concept, but it's 5 bucks just to get into. The movie was 12 bucks for a matinee. All the prices have been set to make even change so your $4.72 with tax would equal $5.00 The restrooms have the old old school air dryers that take 10 mins to dry your hands. Good lord, avoid like the plague.
