I have an infant and he was the patient, so they kept us in a separate room from the rest of the patients. Dr. Arias and her team, were very kind & explained everything in detail about my sons oral motor concerns. She listen to me, asked me about feeding concerns, latch issues & you name it. I didn't know what to expect as we were there to see if my son needed to get his lip and tongue tie reversal, oddly enough it was done that same day. To watch it as a parent was difficult, but hello it needed to be done and she's done it to numerous people. The procedure did take a bit longer but that was due to my son locking his jaw and clamping down on the poor nurses fingers, he at the time was 8.5 weeks old. Post procedure, she goes over the different exercises that she wants you to do with your child to stretch out the lip and the tongue. Then she schedules you for your appointments, a few days after, a week after, week and a half, & then finally the two week. But I really like that she sent me pictures of what my sons mouth looked like before and after. Not only that but she gave me her personal cell phone number and told me to call her if I had any concerns. I didn't call her but she did text message me a few times and we exchanged messages back-and-forth. To me that's an excellent Doctor Who really cares about her patients. I was informed in advance that as a new patient they would be taking full x-rays. WELL, my son called me immediately after the appointment, to tell me he was all done and checking out, and scheduling to get SEVEN cavities filled. What, Wait, Rewind!?!?! I told him to stop right there, do not schedule anything, and have those new x-rays emailed to us. So fast forward, his dentist at home squeezed him in when he was able to get home for an evaluation and review of the x- rays they took. His current dentist (who he has seen since his first tooth) had to take new x-rays because the ones provided by Magnolia were sub-par. And as I expected, he did not have even ONE cavity, and his dentist said he teeth looked exactly as his last appointment approximately 9 months ago. And fortunately, not only was his dentist was just happy to report that he had a clean bill of health, but he sent my son on his way without charging him a dime. I really couldn't believe it when my son said SEVEN cavities. That is insane! After I finish writing this review, I will be contacting my insurance company to let them know of the sub-standard service offered at this location by this dentist, and how I really feel like they are taking advantage of patients who are gullible and essentially scam them. I called on Monday because I had been experiencing gum pain and wanted to be seen. I was told I would be referred to the oral surgeon as in a previous visit I was told I needed my wisdom tooth pulled. She refused to see me after suffering 3 days of pain and no sleep. I called to schedule an appointment with the oral surgeon and they don't even take my insurance. So I made an appointment with the urgent care office and they gave me antibiotics. So I called today to see if she would please squeeze me in as today makes day 7. I was told again she couldn't do anything as she believed it was my wisdom tooth and wouldn't be able to see me. After pleading and having to over talk her to explain that the pain was nowhere near my wisdom tooth she finally decided to schedule me but told me she wouldn't be able to do anything about it. This is unacceptable. I am 8 months pregnant and never thought I would have this experience from a doctor. Doctors have to learn to take black pregnant mothers more serious across the board. It's not just a medical provider issue.

I went to their referral for a CT scan and I was the one who had to constantly call them and coordinate the exchange of info btwn those 2 offices. After a week and half of no communication I spoke with the office mgr and she told me no charge for a consult today BUT today they cancelled my appt and referred me somewhere else and told me they were saving me a charge from them by referring me again. I went to the 2nd referral and they didn't have any of my info which was supposedly sent over. I was in the new dentist today trying to call for the info but got put on hold for an extensive length of time only to get hung up on. So now, I'm doing all the legwork to get my dental information to the correct offices so the new dentist knows what's happened and what he can do next. Dr Martinez was very nice but her staff has lost a patient for her. I doubt she'll ever know how bad this situation got. I'd give her a 4.5 and her staff a 0...so overall I'll just settle for a 1 star review.

I have a zero copay and they demanded I pay $59 for the exam. All they did was xrays and some poking around in my mouth telling me how bad my teeth are. Never heard that from Dr. Bailey. Now this new guy says I need $1500 worth of work? I'm really said about this office because they used to be great. I would not recommend them now.
