She was absolutely amazing with me and spent the whole morning off and on the phone with me. When we got to the dentist later in the afternoon, Dr. Marcy is an absolute gem as well! The staff in there are all super kind and they have a little check out area that the kids absolutely love because they can pick out a little trinket. I will never go anywhere else until I absolutely have to! I love this office! They give off beach vibes in the lobby and play awesome movies while you wait AND when you are laying in the chair.

Instead of apologizing or offering any solution, she dismissed me, refused to help, and literally said she was hanging up. That's their idea of "patient care." I was informed in advance that as a new patient they would be taking full x-rays. WELL, my son called me immediately after the appointment, to tell me he was all done and checking out, and scheduling to get SEVEN cavities filled. What, Wait, Rewind!?!?! I told him to stop right there, do not schedule anything, and have those new x-rays emailed to us. So fast forward, his dentist at home squeezed him in when he was able to get home for an evaluation and review of the x- rays they took. His current dentist (who he has seen since his first tooth) had to take new x-rays because the ones provided by Magnolia were sub-par. And as I expected, he did not have even ONE cavity, and his dentist said he teeth looked exactly as his last appointment approximately 9 months ago. And fortunately, not only was his dentist was just happy to report that he had a clean bill of health, but he sent my son on his way without charging him a dime. I really couldn't believe it when my son said SEVEN cavities. That is insane! After I finish writing this review, I will be contacting my insurance company to let them know of the sub-standard service offered at this location by this dentist, and how I really feel like they are taking advantage of patients who are gullible and essentially scam them. To leave on a good note, my son did feel like the dental hygienist did a good job cleaning his teeth.

I've never felt upsold to services that were unnecessary or felt pressured to do something. We've had several dental implants, extractions, and other procedures. Now... this happened: On the morning of Friday, 10/10, around 10 AM, I received a text and voicemail reminding me of an appointment scheduled for Monday, 10/13 at 8 AM. Apparently, this appointment was set six months ago during my initial visit. I had no recollection of it, and there had been no prior reminders until just then. Unfortunately, due to the extremely short notice, I was unable to attend. I called and left a voicemail to explain. Then, at 6:29 AM on Monday morning, I received a text stating that a $50 fee applies to missed, rescheduled, or canceled appointments with less than 48 business hours' notice. Here's the problem: Their reminder was sent less than 24 business hours before the appointment--and to make matters worse, the office is closed on Fridays, giving me even less of an opportunity to respond during business hours. How is it fair to penalize patients for late cancellations when the reminder system is so flawed? I find it unacceptable to be charged for a missed appointment under these circumstances. The nerves were very quickly gone after just calling the office and speaking to Kathy about an issue I was having that I needed resolved. At my prior practice, I got very used to vey long wait times for cleanings and procedures so this was my anticipation... well, not this time. Kathy is not only so kind and welcoming, she is also extremely efficient and excels at communicating and got me in asap. Now for the doctor. Dr. Rothschild is one of the most patient, educating and kind doctors, let alone dentists that I have had the pleasure of meeting in my lifetime. I had to have two fillings removed and rebuilt and was very nervous... ha! I was in and out in 36 minutes from check in to check out and felt calm and peace after 3 minutes of sitting in his chair. He then called me that evening to check on me!! You just don't see hospitality like this anymore, let alone in the medical world and it really is something. Lastly, Inna the dental hygienist is fantastic. I left the office after a cleaning feeling like I had a brand new grill. She was very informative, honest and efficient and I cannot wait to see her again later in the year. It wasn't until adulthood (when I found Dr. Dennis Rothschild at Andover Dental) that I discovered that you didn't have to have pain at the dentist. Dr. Rothschild always makes sure you are fully numb before doing anything that might hurt. I actually refer to him as the painless dentist when talking about him to family or friends. He also patiently explains everything he is going to do and he goes over pricing so you can make financially informed decisions. Dr. Rothschild also has surrounded himself with a very kind and compassionate staff. From Kathy at the front desk to every one of his dental hygienists, he has created a culture of care. So it's not surprising to see him make the list of Top Orlando Dentists year after year.
