I had insurance with American Family for about 10 years and it was through Perry Ford's Agency. I…read moredidn't have many claims, but I did check in occasionally when I needed different coverage or had questions. What I've found is that good insurance service is very local. Even though you can get insurance coverage over the internet, you really need someone you can call or talk to who knows you at least a little. It makes all the difference when you need to make a claim or just need an understanding of something...and you don't have to re-answer questions over and over...you can just go right to getting advice or help....again because he knows you. Service is where they are excellent, and the getting to know you part is what Perry does. It's not like he is nosy, but I feel that he wants to get to know his customers and over time, it felt like I was giving a friend a call....like he was in my corner and ready to help me with whatever I needed. In dealing with other insurance companies I've had they have often dropped the ball and not come through for me. Perry has always done what he says he's going to do and he's never made a mistake that I can recall...and so he earned my trust quickly. I can't recommend Perry's agency enough and I would still be with him if I had not moved out of state. That's the only reason I changed carriers.
