So even though the physician that I worked with is fantastic, the staff not so much. Just make sure…read morethat if you have insurance, then you bring the extra car so they can scan it because no one can even key in a card. Take it to the phone. Take a picture of it. Do anything else you have to come in? You have to give them the insurance card and they have to be able to read it and have to be able to scan it anything outside of that totally complicated. No one wants to help. It's literally a mill coming in and out. I have now been without medication, life-saving medication for about a week and a half simple because my counter is locked because no one can take my information over the phone nor can they key in information without them having a magical little card in their possession. This is really upsetting. Now I have to go find another primary care physician. Don't come here, do not bother.

Last spring, I tested positive for Covid at an urgent care facility on a Friday. I was dehydrated…read moreand was sent me to an ER for fluids; I still wasn't seen after 4 hours. I checked my labs myself on My Chart, (retired nurse), discussed it with my son, and went home. I called Westgate Family Physicians on Monday; they had no appointments, so had me leave a message for Dr. Meetze's nurse. She called right back and told me to be there at 9AM in the morning. I had lost 11 pounds, was seen and examined by my doctor, and was started on IV fluids, all by 9:15. I was so dehydrated, it took 4 sticks, but they got the IV in. I was never so happy to get an IV. They care about their patients and act quickly in an emergency. When my husband died in hospice with end stage Parkinson's, I dropped by the office with his obituary, and the office sent me a sympathy card, signed by the staff, including sweet note from his doctor. My current rating of this office is a 5.

BEST DR EVER!! To the review by Shannon S below, if you were treated like a drug addict..' if the…read moreshoe fits' any Dr that just hands out drugs on first visit, probably deals on the corner. Name one Dr that writes prescription without knowing your background ( if you do, might want to know if they've been sued for malpractice. Patel is the best Dr I've ever seen. My husband went to a Dr and when he went all that Dr did was walk in, write a prescription and walk out. Husband would tell him how he was hurting and all that Dr did was wright a prescription. He decided to switch to Patel, when test were run doc found he had cyst on pancreas. You want drugs, go to a different Dr or go to a drug dealer because Patel is the Best When my jaw started aching he sent me to hospital for blood work (I had called him). I went, was having heart attack. He saved my life.

This office is a joke. Be prepaid to be treated like a drug addict if you want an appointment…read more First they make you sign a paper that states any missed appointment is $100 and then they have you sign a paper stating you need to bring all prescriptions, even blood pressure into office for pill counting before refill are called in. Are you kidding me?? What is the clientele this office is catering too? What level of care does this office provide...Oh also they have a sign that says..If you discuss anything that may be bothering you during your well check it is no longer a well check and will be billed as a sick visit. So when you go for a check up and say hey i have been a bit off lately be prepaid to pay extra.
