0 stars. Terrible experience on a very special long awaited day. We sent a deposit/ reserved day and time and never heard back only to tell us they are running late. We were hopeful and waited for hrs, couldn't even hire a replacement at that point. Our guests were also disappointed and will not recommend this mariachi to anyone. Have yet to hear back from them. Now that I'm reading comments of similar experiences we plan on taking further actions for this to stop and get deposits back. This was a very stressful and frustrating situation. Horrible experience with this mariachi, don't even call them I booked them for June 18 it's June 23 and still no response. We supposably had a contract I sent him $50 deposit and they never showed up. The day of the event I called him at that time they were suppose to start I called Ricardo the one I did the contract with and he picked up the phone said he was driving was just going to get his Bluetooth connected and hung up. I tried calling him back and straight to voicemail tried calling him with different numbers and straight to voicemail. Sent him messages and he didn't reply at all obviously. They never showed up and just kept the deposit that's not professional at all. Mariachi 1000 Amores came recommended by our wedding planner. We were excited to connect and they said they were able to provide what we were looking for a reasonable price than others. The day of the wedding, they had two members not show up to the gig, including a harpist, which we were promised would attend. They did bring down the price, since they did not deliver on what the contract said, but we were still disappointed. Hiring a band is tough when you don't have recommendations. I reached out to quite a few bands through Yelp. Mil amores responded promptly and had the best availability. The best part of communication was they sent me videos of previous events that they played. I was very impressed. The price was great of 1hr. They arrived with 6 band players on time. The musician came prepared to social distance and had masks on due to COVID. We were so impressed! We really enjoyed how they played songs that we request and others in between. They played the whole hour with out wasting time. We are truly great full for Mariachi 1000 amores for making our event special. I would contract them again and recommend this band. read more

The communication was Above and Beyond they worked around the time frame I needed them to play.. the day of the Party I had a request on the song I wanted to be played while they arrived..my Mother had no Idea that we had gotten Mariachi for her that day and she LOVED THEM. I was in search for a good mariachi group to surprise and celebrate my dad, a WWII war vet who had beat COVID this year and was turning 99. This man has been soo wonderful to me and I wanted to celebrate him since I've been soo blessed to have him in our lives and since I was out of state and his love for mariachi music, I figured maybe just sending him a group to come surprise him.
