I really love the modern look of the ballroom, the high ceilings and I like the added metal fixures on the chandeliers which gave them a more modern look. The room is very large and spacious and can hold a lot of guests. The gazebo ceremony was a lovely area as the sun was setting. The food was great, and the staff are so friendly, I especially loved working with the wedding coordinator who works really hard, I've met her before at another event. This is definitely my kind of place with the bling and Crystal enormous chandeliers, beautiful fountains and Grecian statues that are larger than life! The ceremony space had a huge skylight and a large window where the couple stood enabling you to see the stone bridge, rock fountains, etc. so much beauty!! After the ceremony we were directed to "The Chantilly" room and the display and selection of appetizers knocked my socks off! There was a salad station- cold area with cheese, crackers, fresh fruit, roasted beets, salmon, caprese salad and much much more! There was an Italian station w pasta, meatballs, sausage, pizza, then carved pork and skirt steak area, lots of seafood and even a mashed potato bar and a macaroni and cheese bar. Stupendous! Every time I got up I found something new to try. The wedding space was elegant and large for all to enjoy. We ordered the filet and that was served with tasty asparagus, potatoes, a peeled carrot and a light gravy sauce. I was very happy with all the desserts I tried too. The staff was ultra pleasant and attentive. This was a first class affair. I loved my time at Lucien's Manor and if you have the chance to attend or host an event there I know you will too. The estate is absolutely beautiful and the…read morecatering was very good, but as someone who used to work weddings at a venue similar to this one, the service was not quite up to par. As a member of the wedding party we arrived at 7am to begin getting ready. Unfortunately our first impression of the venue was a very bad one. A continental breakfast buffet was supposed to be set up in the bridal suite, and when we walked in it was absolutely infested with ants. Ants on the pastries, in the fruit, on the table cloth, and walking in and out of the coffee pots. It made us wonder how long the food had been sitting out prior to our scheduled arrival and how on earth that many bugs were already present. It took a long time to be able to find any worker to deal with the issue, and even longer to rectify it. An employee sprayed Raid all over the tablecloth before taking everything away, so that smell lingered in the air. It was nearly nine by the time we got all the food and drinks set up again. Dinner service was also very slow with long wait times for some tables in between courses. Some tables were finished eating before others began. It took two and half hours to serve salad, entrees, and desserts for roughly 80 guests, which left less than an hour for music and dancing. Despite the snafus, the venue is still gorgeous and makes an wonderful backdrop for photos. The grounds are very well maintained and picturesque and the house is classic and lovely. I especially loved the back patio that overlooks the lawn and faces west so you get a beautiful sunset over the trees. The staff I interacted with were very gracious, and the food was very good.

The ballroom is two floors with the second floor looking down into the first. When I attended the wedding the couple got married at the venue as well. Everything was handled flawlessly when turning it over to dining after the ceremony. Food was great too! The event tonight was very nice. There was plenty of room for the many registration tables. The ballroom held over 30 tables for businesses to share their well known dishes. There were also also high top tables throughout.

I arrived an hour early, had decent parking since they have a private lot, grabbed my will call seats, ate a snack and sat with my friend before the show started. The seating was small but I have heard bad stories about other theaters in Philly. I'm 5'1 so having a clear view means a lot and also I had enough room to have my coat in my lap. It is tight seating, I won't deny that but not so bad. Overall the venue is between a 3 star and 4 star. I do want to recommend an early arrival to get parking and avoid any lines. There is an elevator but you I recommend calling ahead to verify if you may need assistance.

Nearly every family member commented about how beautiful the venue was decorated in purple, white and silver. Also, we found the location without any challenges and there was plenty of parking. While many people consider this location for parties in the evening or weekends, it was actually perfect for mid-day and a repast. The owner worked beautifully with our caterers and even rolled up her sleeves to ensure our event was perfect! My family hosted a 60th birthday party at Fabulous events this weekend . I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but she was so rude and unprofessional, I was disgusted and disappointed. She was nitpicking at every little thing we did as far as set up and making really offensive remarks . She was irritated at something . It's one of those things that's hard to explain and understand, like why is she being so rude ?????? Even at the end of the night , it was like GET OUT . The man she had with her did ask how our night went but she did not. As far as I know , it's her venue so I hold her to a high regard. The person who we gave the party for was a stroke victim , who was still in recovery and we just wanted to celebrate her still being here with us for her 60th . Plus It had stormed so bad before our event that it set us back. We had a large amount of ppl coming to us from Philly, Delaware , NY and even Raleigh NC. So our event started at 5 but honestly ppl didn't get there until 6/630 cause it rained so bad. The owner was back at 10pm sharp and walking around huffing and puffing and making smart comments about what she wouldn't do and would do if this was her party. She made us feel very uncomfortable. Not welcoming at all. There was a moment while cleaning up that my sister in law was about to snap on her for being so rude . Honestly I would never recommend, refer or use this event space ever again. I was one of the ones shouting for ppl to go here . I own two very popular businesses in the same area , so I am in contact with so many ppl on a daily basis. I pride myself on love , customer service and professionalism. In the last 5 years Of being in business I would never make my customers feel so uncomfortable and unappreciated. We paid our money to be there . We went over and beyond to make this happen for the person we wanted to celebrate. And to have such a nasty demeanor was disgusting. The venue is nice , but there are other venues in the same area where we have had events at , with better aesthetics and was treated with so much more respect. She should humble herself a bit. I just really wanted to support this venue cause of how I felt before when I met her . Ppl show their true colors eventually.
