Many wedding venues are much like the bridal parties that choose their particular brand of fee for service nuptials. Some are sleek and elegant while others are wrapped in fabrics and colors seldom found in nature offering food options better left for a divorce deposition. If you live long enough you'll experience both while high fiving the former and planning a quick and stealth-like exit from the latter. Luckily, The Bradford Estates was almost too good to be true. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. As an Italian, I'm still hearing about weddings from the early 1980's that offended Grandma Breakayabalz with a cheapskate repast. You don't want to be on the wrong side of that line. The cocktail hour was overflowing with delicious hors d'oeuvres and small plate wonders like mouth watering eggplant and fresh oysters. I'm mentioning two but the hot and cold selections were endless, upscale and delicious. A bounty that almost made a very flavorful dinner serving of chateaubriand (among others) superfluous. The grounds themselves are exquisitely maintained leading to an outdoor wedding space that is both secluded and tasteful. Each wedding rents the entire space with absolutely no rush to the finish line as the next four weddings are lined up behind you. So, if you're among the 50% of couples whose first marriages won't work out, consider a better option for your second try. No themed rooms with pink sconces anywhere and no frozen pastry puffs -- unless you're intent on sabotaging your happiness yet again. The Bradford Estates gets an easy five stars wrapped in bacon and dates. read more

My friend got married this past Saturday and had her reception here (I was in the bridal party). To start off, the bridal suite is located upstairs (which is nice because it ensures that your items are locked away and safe). The bridal suite branched off into a groom's suite as well which was amazing! We were also served some fruit, veggies, cheese and crackers and some champagne while we were waiting for the cocktail hour to start. So delicious!! The grounds are gorgeous and perfect for photos! I am excited to see how they turned out once my friend gets her pictures back. This location is absolutely stunning! The cocktail hour ran an extra half hour which was so nice and all of the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. There were so many options to choose from, it was food stations in addition to butler service walking around! I tried the popcorn chicken, the barbecue chicken, chicken & waffles, quesadilla, bacon wrapped steak and a variety of other foods I can't even remember. In addition, my friend was able to have THREE signature drinks! (The His, the Ours, and the Hers). I tried both the Ours and the Hers, and my favorite was definitely the Hers! The reception itself was beautiful, and I love that they incorporated some Polish traditions that meant a lot to the bride (as her parents and family members are all from Poland). They were extremely accommodating of the customs/traditions which was amazing! I believe the tables fit between 8-10 people, our table was at 10 (which was a little crowded) but after Dinner everyone got up to get drinks, dance, mingle, etc so it worked out fine! Typically with weddings, you have to "pre-order" your entree, but at this venue, you can order on site which was very nice! Dinner was delicious but also very filling (due to the cocktail hour food), we even had the option of ordering ANOTHER entree to try as well! In addition, there was the bride and groom's cake, PLUS a dessert that we were able to order. I think that our desserts might have gotten messed up with another table, because a lot of us ordered the peanut butter explosion, but were given some sort of cookie cup/icecream dessert. The Bradford Estate is one of the most exquisite wedding venues! We had our Son & Daughter-in-law's wedding there in April 2022, the scenery was breathtaking and the tulips were in full bloom. Loved everything about about this venue. The upstairs bridal suite was a great place for all the girls to get ready. And the groomsmen really enjoyed their game room/getting ready space as well. Elizabeth was very professional, a pleasure to work with, always prompt with her responses, & meticulous in her every detail from scheduling the wedding timeline down to navigating family members on the wedding day. During the cocktail hour the Food Stations were well-prepared delectable choices with great presentation and interesting flavor; guests were so impressed they even thought it was the reception, received so many complements. Definitely would highly recommend The Bradford Estate for your wedding. read more

I recently attended a Wedding reception at The Bradford Estates. They are located on 5 acres overlooking the Rancocas River in Hainesport NJ. They have a separate room for cocktail hour as well as the main ballroom for dinner and dancing. The main ballroom sports it's own bar and they also leave open the bar in the cocktail room which is nice as it eliminates lines typically found at other venues. They only host one wedding reception at a time at this facility which is a nice change from some of the mega venues out there. They can accommodate up to 210 guests. The service was on point and the wait staff and bartenders were friendly and helpful throughout the event. The food was outstanding, which is not usually something I find myself saying after most wedding receptions held at one of the many regional mega venues. You are greeted upon entering with Champagne and escorted into the magnificent cocktail hour room. They had numerous food stations during the cocktail hour, including fresh a baked pizza station, a slider station with the tastiest sliders I've had in a while (Crab Cake, BBQ Pulled Pork, Beef, and Chicken Sliders on Mini-Brioche, with Milk Shake Shots, Frizzled onions and French Fries), artisan cheese, crackers, fresh fruit with hand carved melons overflowing with seasonal fruit and berries. Hors D'Oeuvres are Passed Butler Style with White Gloved Service as well. There was enough food during the cocktail hour that it could have been considered a meal. Did I mention the Slider station? The Sliders rocked, they were mmmmmmmmmmmm-Good? For dinner I selected the Seafood duet - a skewer of Grilled Shrimp Served with an Herbed Garlic Butter, accompanied with a Teriyaki Glazed Salmon. It was fantastic. A nice touch here is they bring around Second Portions to each table after the Entree's are served and ask if anyone wants more of any of the main selections. They have a dessert service after the main entree service, held in the cocktail room it includes an ice cream sundae bar, mini Viennese display, Banana's Foster Flambé, International Coffee and a Cordial Bar. All said in done, it was a great venue with fantastic food and service and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an event venue. read more

I recently attended a wedding at the Bradford Estate. First thing that hir me was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The food was well cooked and tasty. I did not like the stuffing in the flounder. A nice piece of fish and a slice of lemon would have sufficed. My only complaint which stopped me from 5 Starring this review were the junky banboo-like steel bar in the backing of the dining room chairs. My friend has bone cancer in the spine and the metal bars aggravated his pain. The chairs had absolutely no cushioning and looked like rejects from a Casino. At least four people from our table asked staff for a pillow, table cloth or even a folded box to cushion his spine. Not one employee returned with anything or further addressed the situation. The employees ignored our request. read more

I am not even sure where to begin... I got married at this beautiful venue yesterday, and absolutely everything was perfect. I had a fall-themed wedding and had purchased a ton of decorations (gourds, leaf scatter, deep-colored rose petals, pumpkins, round paper Chinese lanterns, etc.), and they really arranged everything into a setup more gorgeous than I could have imagined. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive. The bridal attendant Sarah seemed to be everywhere, and she couldn't do enough for us. The same can be said for the Maitre D Cheryl, the General Manager Alex, and the wedding coordinator Victoria. Victoria saved the day by getting a large mud stain out of my dress (from my reveal shot) with a Tide pen, a towel, and a lot of patience. My guests raved about everything at the venue, from the food to the gorgeous atmosphere to the amazing staff, and I wholeheartedly agree with them. The food was never-ending and absolutely delicious. The waiters came out and served a full table's food in 1 swift movement. Second portions were even offered--- I've never seen a wedding venue do that! The champagne was fantastic, my signature drink (caramel appletini, caramel vodka, fresh apple cider, and caramel drizzle) was awesome, and the bartender (whose name I don't know because the other staff ensured that I was fed and taken care of for the whole day) was excellent--- received many compliments on him too. Table-side wine service was a great touch too. They took my vision and made it better than I could have imagined. I could rave about them for hours, but I hope that some of my wedding guests will do that in their own Yelp review. read more

Great venue for a reception, outdoor ceremony space can be a bit noisy depending on traffic in the area. My suggestion would be some kind of bug spray/fumigation effort prior to a ceremony. The outdoor chairs were a bit "used" and could definitely use a cleaning or refreshing. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Bar tenders were alaotopnotch. The food (not sure if this is associated with the Bradford) was passable. Audio system during the ceremony was cutting in and out during the vows, but I'm also not certain if this is tied into the estate. One star lost due to the bugs in the backyard and the other than stellar food...and yes I sure did taste all three plated meal choices!!!! read more

I'm not one to review wedding venues, but I had such a great experience with service here that I had to. Attended a wedding here as a guest today and all staff were super friendly, cordial, helpful, and attentive. The servers even had choreography for the way they delivered meals so that they were synchronized. I believe we had Drew(?) as our server and he was amazing. He was always around and delivered every time. The food and drinks were great. Thoroughly enjoyed cocktail hour. They even offered seconds for dinner, which was nice. read more

Who knew this gorgeous venue existed in Hainesport? I recently attended a wedding here and was blown away by everything the venue offered. Venue: The outside is very little but cute, perfect for an outdoor ceremony. I heard that Bradford Estates is newly remodeled as everything was shiny and new. The main room and bathrooms were also very nice. I am not sure how this venue would accommodate a wedding with a large guest list. The wedding I attended seemed to be about less than 100 people and I can't see the venue fitting a wedding with 250 guests. Food: Wow, wow, wow! The cocktail hour served sliders, pizza, fries, mashed potato bar (pesto mash was my fav) with all the fixings, veggies, cheese, fruit, vanilla milkshake (yep, you read that right) and other hors d'oeuvres. I asked myself, "How could they possibly top this amazing cocktail hour?" Well, the entrees did not disappoint. We were given about 4-5 entree options. They all sounded delicious but I choose the eggplant rollatini served with vegetables and roasted potatoes. The vegetables were very fresh and flavorful. My friend even commented that the carrot looked like a carrot Pooh Bear would eat. It seemed like the vegetables came straight from a garden. The eggplant was really good and the red sauce was perfection (I'm Italian so I know). After we finished our entree our server came to the table and although I did not hear hear clearly I definitely knew I heard the word, "seconds". Seconds? This place is asking if you would like seconds? Ohh mann.. Well I was way too full to take her up on her offer but again I was impressed. Service: All of the servers were very attentive. They were constantly taking away dishes and silverware, refilling drinks, and even asking if we wanted drinks from the bar. A+ all the way! My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception here in 2018, and the experience was exquisite, high-class, joyful, and beyond expectation. We were married in the spring, and I mentioned a year before the event that tulips were my favorite flower and that it would be wonderful if The Bradford happened to line their flowerbeds with tulips (again), as they were on display in the front lawn on the day that we visited. Their norm may already have been to choose tulips, but they also noted my preference and, a year later, the tulips were in place and quite lovely. The interior of The Bradford was elegant, with paintings and gorgeous furniture in the foyer. The cocktail lounge was classy, and the reception hall and wall of windows overlooking the creek were pretty. Our wedding ceremony was held outdoors where we decorated the archway with flowers. Our guests RAVED about the variety, portions, and quality of food in our cocktail hour, to the point at which having a sit-down meal afterward was an unnecessary bonus--everyone said that they were "stuffed" before dinner even started. The servers walked out in a procession line with covered plates, and the service was excellent. They even walked around, asking if anyone wanted seconds! I did have to send proactive emails to the my wedding planner at the Bradford, asking for information that I wished had been sent before my having to do that, but it wasn't a big deal, and she is no longer with the company. Everything that we requested was done perfectly, although the cake company that they recommended (for the wedding cake that comes with the package), was just okay. The icing tasted better than the cake, and the company decorated it the wrong color flowers. My husband and I let those types of errors "roll off," but a few people commented on it. My only complaint, which my husband shares, is that the bridal attendant was way too chatty and "present," including during the initial minutes after we exchanged vows and walked the recessional. As soon as the ceremony was over and my husband and I were excitedly and lovingly looking at each other and hoping to privately celebrate that fact that we had JUST GOTTEN MARRIED, the bridal attendant was there, giving us instructions and sharing our moment with us. Then, we went upstairs to the bridal suite to have 15 minutes of private time before joining our guests during the cocktail hour, and she nicely brought us food but stood there talking for far too long. I understand that we were just another couple in what, for her, was a long series of identical "work events" or "business as usual," but it's important for the bridal attendants to remember that each wedding is special and important to each couple. I recommend that the bridal attendants give newlyweds several moments after the recessional to connect and bask in what happened while hey refrain from engaging in unnecessary conversation. She also chose to bring us oysters or clams on the shell--I forget which--which was not what we would have chosen from the vast list of menu items, so I recommend that, if you get married at The Bradford, you come prepared with a list of foods that you would like delivered to the bridal suite if you choose to spend some time there during the cocktail hour. Aside from this, the day was beautiful and joyful, honestly the best day of our lives, and the guests had an outstanding time as well as nothing but compliments about the ceremony and reception, as well as The Bradford Estate. Because my husband and I didn't get to enjoy much of the food during the cocktail because we were pulled in so many directions by our guests, we went to the Bradford Ball a year later, hoping to enjoy the food that we'd missed. Unfortunately, we were disappointed because the food was mediocre!! Yikes. For this reason, I would give The Bradford four stars instead of five, but, because the food at our wedding was a different spread, I'm hoping that the food that our guests ate was as good as they said it was. read more

Went to an event here recently. While they've done a beautiful job remodeling this place (I hadn't been to it in many years), in their excitement to add on to the building they've made the parking lot WAY too small to accommodate anything over 80 guests. Once their little lot is filled, you're forced to park on the shoulder of the VERY busy Marne Highway and walk up the big hill to get to the front door. How are there no reviews for this adorable little spot? Well, let me start with the location. Just a few minutes outside of Cherry Hill, this was a cute spot for a wedding. The lake outside, the patio, easy parking, and nicely decorated space made for a great wedding venue. The cocktail hour had a myriad of delicious foods including a shrimp scampi bar and a slider bar. Awesome. And for cocktail hour no less! Sweet! Anyway, dinner was excellent and I loved that they came around after and offered secondary entrees. What?! Well, if you are hungry ... Jump in. The dancing space was great and the room never felt crowded or full. The bar was in the back of the room and made it easy to get drinks quickly. We really had a great time at this wedding. It was beautiful and fun! Also, the hangover presentation station on our way out was incredibly awesome. Waffles, coffee, soda, and Philly cheesesteaks ... All to go! Yay! What a horrible group of people. I had my wedding planned and virtually payed for. My reception was cancelled two months before my wedding by Luca and friends. We were told that they were going to do renovations to their cocktail tongue. Two months. They offered no help in trying to get a new venue and were smug and unapologetic on the phone. That's right, they called us on the phone and cancelled at lunchtime. How can you people sleep at night when you did that to someone. read more
