We came up here during our Loveland visit in June 2018. Had lunch overlooking the 10th hole. We did not play today. (I had 3 local people recommend this course to me so we went to check on it) No senior rates, week ends was more costly. We plan on playing during the week when it will be cheaper and less crowded. 18 Holes with a cart included before noon was $60, after lunch was $48.very hilly course build in residential housing. read more

GORGEOUS course! But when did golf become a frat party? Boom boxes! Three groups that we could see had 5 players and then the groups in front of us ended up with 8 at hole 8! It is slow...trashy...and not fun! But beautiful and a great course for when the City brings back real golf etiquette in lieu of house party central. read more

Not worth it for a city course. No senior or military discount. Slow play and people don't fix their ball marks.

Had a great time beautiful course well priced. Was able to play as just a twosome on a Tuesday, and get in 18 in 3.5 hours. In Denver would have definitely been a foursome and would have pushed 5 hours. Very well maintained and lovely views and course design. read more

Really fun course. Greens were slow compared to most courses in the area. Views were great and the layout is really great. The pro shop was well set up and they were very friendly. The bar and restaurant were also very polite and very reasonably priced for a golf course. Would recommend read more

Nice course but I wouldn't recommend it. We are a 4-some of experienced golfers playing a best ball scramble. On the second hole, we were approached by a ranger while we were hunting for my ball which had either gone into the lake or was on the periphery. While we were at it, I spied a few extra balls that I captured from the water. So why would a ranger make it a point to come all the way over to us to tell us to "Hurry it along, ladies"? I guess it wasn't that we were especially holding up the game, since, as I mentioned, we were playing best ball and were moving at a relatively quick clip. The only reason I can figure is because we are women. This sort of stuff burns my craw at golf courses. It leaves a very negative impression on the entire course. Of course I won't go back! If there was even one man on the foursome, you can bet this guy wouldn't have approached us. read more

They made us get off the course an hour before close while it was still light outside. No one was there and we were flying through our round just to be stopped at 7 by Dona. Dona is the reason the course is empty. Ever her employees said wait for her wrath. Dona is absolutely the most disrespectful person I've ever dealt with. I will never play here again. We paid all the money for 18 just to get cut off. read more

I love this course , but this was the least enjoyable experience I've had,thank you whoever is in charge this weekend.I don't get how you could fail to recognize the need to prepare for the first warm weekend of the season.One beverage cart on the course,out of beer,food...No bacon! Played here for the 1st time last Monday, Memorial day. Such a beautiful course and in fantastic shape!! I happened to leave my brand new 9 iron laying near a bunker and someone turned it in. The golf shop had some call me back and he was SO nice and offered to ship it to Aurora for me!! It got here the next day. Thank you SO much for you excellent customer service and for being so kind. Saved me $120 and a lot of in between club headaches for my weekend tournament. I will be back to play there again very soon. read more

Yesterday was our first experience playing this course. Fantastic layout particularly the back nine. The course is in excellent condition and very playable. The greens were excellent although tough to read in some cases. The downside was the five hour round due mostly to the foursome ahead of us with no sense of urgency. One golfer didn't understand course policy as their cart was nearly on the tee box. There may have been a Marshall but clearly he was ineffective. One such occurrence can really give you a less than positive feeling about an otherwise excellent golf course. read more

I have to update this review as Marianna Butte has rebuilt their clubhouse and the city has invested in this Gem. This has been LONG overdue and the upgrades really place this facility among the top public courses in the northern parts of Colorado - truly worth the drive if you are venturing up from the Metro area. The Bar and Sunday Buffet will blow your mind, it matches the neighborhood feel that is, Marianna Butte. And the course has different management which alleviates my previous gripes. Next on the list, re-sod the driving range :) read more

Great food, beautiful setting, and on a warm evening, probably the best place to watch the sun set with a great drink in hand. The food is great and the staff are always friendly. It can occassionally take a little longer than normal for service, but this Loveland newcomer is definitely one of my favorites! read more

It is a beautiful day for....Golf? Well this is true at Mariana Butte Golf Course in Loveland Colorado. It is such a beautiful course nestled in the foothill of the Rocky Mountains. But it isn't just beauty that makes this course a must go to course. It is the challenge mixed with the beauty. This course is a good challenge for any golfer. There are some hole you look at on your scorecard and you say, "ya, right." To us beginners though, this course is not as bad as others. There are challenges all around, but there seem to be a few holes that are in there to boost you confidence and let you look like a pro. Because of all the hills, this course gives you a good hike and is much better if you walk it. This will give you even more challenge. As I mentioned above, this course is just breathtaking. After you go out and see their beautiful, well groomed course with streams and brooks, you will want to shake that hands of the grounds keepers and let them know what a good job they are doing. Even though it can get expensive to play out on this great course, it is worth the money just to play it once even if they doubled the price. So if you are in the Loveland area, I would recommend trying out this breathtaking course. It is just as exciting as it is beautiful. read more

One of my favorite golf courses and worth the drive. Nice hazards and amazing views, especially from the restaurant and driving range. The food is good, which isn't always the case at golf course restaurants. Highly recommend this course. read more

this is a very nice course and the greens were in spectacular shape for this early in the year. The, it's a small world, saying came into play today when I, from Arizona, was paired with three local golfers, one of them my nephew whom I had not seen in over 40 years. Great pairing.
