Hard to tell about my experience.But after placing a on-line order just on four items. Three is all I got after getting to sit down to eat with family. And had to try to call directly but got hung up on than after calling a second time only to have a busy tone. Then I drive back up there and there is only one table with customers. So not busy!!! And so after I go in to have to explain to them I get treated like they were slammed and didn't even know I was just in there 30min. earlier.plus like they didn't believe what I was telling them.I then sit to wait and when the food comes out. The young man told me not to talk to there wait stuff like I was not again was NOT disrespectful at all to them. Remember people I came all the way back up there and had not even eaten my plate. Friendly and efficient staff...including kitchen and waitstaff. I requested two tostadas with refried beans, cheese, etc. They did everything the best way and those two tostadas were perfect and delicious. This Maria's is known for its Shrimp A La Diabla. I ordered online to try the first time. (Process was fine but they didn't understand me when I called to say I was there even though online it says you can do curbside & I tipped extra for that, it's fine) A patient once told me to give a new restaurant a couple months to get going before you try it so I did. Chips not fresh. Salsa mediocre. They forgot my side of tortillas so I can't rate that. Beans are okay, rice was overcooked. I got the sampler & chicken enchiladas with verde sauce sad saved it for the next day. The sampler was not a good choice. Enchiladas were okay, they really needed more sauce so I added queso. The meat inside the tamale was gross, texture of puréed canned meat. Final verdict: if a group wanted to go here I'd go but I wouldn't order independently. read more

Yummy and authentic dishes. Very good hot salsa. We had the ground beef tacos and a side of guacamole. All very good.

I arrived at an almost empty restaurant and was seated right away. The young lady took my drink order brought me salsa and chips and then another young lady minutes later came and took my order. The food was great, the salsa good but the service could use some pep in their step. The young ladies that were serving had kinda congregated and were talking (no big deal) but half way through my food my drink was empty and nobody came back to my table till it was time to hand me the ticket. They were polite the whole time, just wish they would have be more consistent and actually "waited" on my table. I Left a good tip and went on my way having enjoyed my lunch. read more

Meh. I guess if this is what you are used to, then it is probably pretty good. However, if you have every actually had good Mexican food, you would quickly understand the substandard, cold crap is really is. People love this place because they also think Pizza Hut or Domino's actually have the best pizza. Get out more. Ugh, this place I totally DO NOT recommend. They serve white and yellow queso but, while the white is plain, the yellow has many spices. If you like spices. Great. I don't. There was absolutely no flavor in everything they served. My chips on my nachos were extremely stale and the cheese was so solidified it just fell off the stale chip. The queso comes in a tiny serving for $5 and tastes like melted slices of cheese mixed with water. First and last time I will be dining here.
