We would NEVER RECOMMEND due to ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE we've ever had. Service was so bad by the waitress taking our order we walked out before even trying the food. Judging by other recent reviews about a particularly rude lady, she may have actually been an owner, I'm not sure on that however. Either way, she must not care at all about getting return customers or representing the restaurant in a positive light. I'll note the lady who seated us was nice, the gentleman that got our drinks was nice. However the lady who came to take our order was rude, unprofessional, and hateful. She was snappy from the start, bad attitude, 'I hate life' tone in her voice - just a bad demeanor overall. I asked a question about a dish, if I could add mushrooms, her reply, in a snappy voice: 'For $2.50.' I simply said 'no that's okay, I won't do that,' and I ordered a different dish. She snapped the menus out of our hands and said to my wife and I if we 'didn't like prices, then stay home.' That was it for us. We said 'okay, we'll leave...the price is not the issue, it's your attitude.' So we started to leave. As we walked out, she said to my wife walking in front of me 'don't ever come back' to which my wife replied 'we just moved down here and you're the rudest person I've ever met!' We won't be back!' and I sternly asked her 'Do you think with your attitude we would ever come back? Don't worry, we won't.' This lady had the audacity to came back with a middle finger and a 'f**k you' as we walked out the door. This scene was in front of other patrons. Very professional. /s It was almost unbelievable. It's by far the rudest, most asinine interaction we've ever had at a restaurant, or really any public place I can recall, and we're fairly well traveled people. Service was good, new waitress but she did great. While there, be sure to check out the military theme decor. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in town. I have read the reviews posted here and it makes me wonder if I even ate at the same restaurant! I have given this place 2 tries just in case the first time was a fluke. Nope. Same ridiculously slow, sorry service. No emotion from the staff, other than making you feel like you are a hinderance to their day. The food is okay but nothing special. The restaurant appears dirty because of all the tacky crap hanging around (I'm not referring to the military photos etc.). Then at checkout, you are bombarded with mountains of flea market-esque type garbage that your kids will beg you to buy. Not to mention the knock-off , knock-off (yes, twice) jewelry & purses blocking the exit! Do yourself a favor and visit Oriental House across the street. read more

Been here for breakfast. The menu is huge. It's actually two menus there are so many options. And there are new items and specials posted on the dry erase boards in and outside the establishment. Angels is pro military and Pro PD, it's great they have the walls decorated with a lot of Marine placards and they even have a marine and police uniform on the center wall. I'm assuming that these belonged to the some of the owners. It's great to see how proud they are of this. The breakfast selection are typical. With the skillets and omelette being our favorite choices. The Greek skillet, and the Missouri omelette are an excellent choice for the meat lover. The lunch and dinner menu is a mix of American traditional, and Mexican cuisine. With steaks and almost anything else you can think of. The menu seemed to get a little overwhelming. But every dish they bought out looks great, and everyone in the restaurant was enjoying the food. The staff are great, and very helpful. My coffee was always full. I give this restaurant a zero star. The owner was absolutely horrible today. She over charged us for 2 drinks, and when I mentioned it to her to take off she refused and literally began arguing that we ordered them when we clearly did not. That was why one of the supposed 4 drinks was sitting off to the side in touched. The owner was very distracted today and did not pay attention to what we ordered or what was said even though we corrected her numerous times. So after debating with her and her refusing to take them off I told her to just run the card so we could leave. She asked if I wanted to leave a tip on card and I said no, we use cash. She proceeded to tell me no that she is charging me gratuity because we had 6 people. We had 4 adults, 1 child and a 3 month old who wasn't eating and sleeping in a carseat. I corrected her and said no we have 5 people and she said that it doesn't matter we had 5 people so she is charging the gratuity. She called me white trash, refused to give me my receipt and said she was going to slam the door in my face and my kids face. I have been here numerous times with way more family and never once charged these prices. Over $80 because of whatever tip she added and I have no idea since she wouldn't give a receipt. I do not recommend this place and they stole money from us. read more

My husband and I went here today we had a HORRIBLE experience. A lady at a shop that we visited referred the café to us. The female manager is a very rude person. She obviously has some issues. She lacks the qualifications that a great manager should have. We didn't even get to eat we just left and it's all over the fact we asked for our menu again so we could verify what exactly was suppose to come with my wife's order. My husband and I and several people in our family have dined at Angel's for several years. BUT WE WILL NOT GO BACK. My husband, his mother and his sister visited Angel's on Tuesday of this week. The waitress was very good, however, we were offered some dinner rolls which we accepted. But upon the rolls being placed on our table you could see MOLD on each one of the rolls. So we asked for Norma the owner to come out so that we could visit with her. When she came to the table she was showed the MOLDY rolls and she made no comment at all, she did not even apologize. She simply walked away. When we went to the cashier to pay we expected to have had a reduction on the total of the food, however, nothing was changed at all. This is no way for a business owner to act. We should have had a sincere apology as well as a reduction on the amount. If she doesn't even care about her customers food that is pretty sorry. AGAIN WE WILL NOT GO BACK. Beware of MOLDY Food. read more
