A little disappointed that I'm rating so low. Everything was so soggy. I'm hoping it was because I ordered delivery, but even so it's still disappointing. Well first I was told 35 mins but it took 65 mins. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a whiting platter. The chicken for the sandwich looks like it's the same chicken they add to their salads. It was cut in strips. And husband said it was ok. He didn't finish it. And the whiting and fries were greasy and soggy. Whiting pieces were small. Sighhhhh. Very disappointing. read more

While it is your typical mama-papa shop, it is clean, organized as you first walk in. I didn't visit the toilet but I would assume they kept it clean. I ordered 12 inch Philly's cheesesteak via yelp via grubhub. The meat and everything else within the sub was tasty, while the extra topping (hot peppers weren't as good as expected). BEST Indian food in harford county, but it's extremely difficult to order since there isn't a specific time/availability of Indian food. Most days it's not available until around or after 5pm. Try and try again. They have moderately good Indian food and there is not another gig in town. But they consistently forget extra meat naan and now you order and someone calls you immediately to say "we don't have Indian food till 5" or "we don't have Indian food today". Was looking for a new delivery place that could provide a decent quick meal. We gave Maria's a try and have not been disappointed. We now order from there about once a week. Gyros are excellent, they have the best old bay wings in HdG. You can order all flats which is a bonus. We like their pizza as well. We have been trying their Indian dishes and they are really good. I have been to India a number of times and they hit the mark. The butter chicken was really good and the lamb Bryani was excellent as well. Not quite the same as you can get in India but it had a really good flavor and I will order it again. We usually order delivery and get quick service. Tonight we were downtown and stopped in to order - very friendly staff and answered all our questions and the food was cooked quickly. read more

Awesome. Whenever I order from their Indian menu, my food is always delicious and very fresh. I'm honestly surprised every time that it's so fresh, especially the samosas and rice. This evening, I ordered the chicken tikka marsala with rice, samosas and naan. The food arrived when they said it would and was still hot. The chicken and curry was delicious, the samosas, rice and naan were also delicious & again, very fresh. Every time, I order Indian food from them, I'm never disappointed. There aren't a lot of Indian choices probably due to being an already extensive menu, but what they have, I love. read more

If you want some good delivery this is it. The menu has a wide variety of everything from pizzas and seafood to Indian dishes. My go to is the butterfly shrimp platter and the tilapia . Fast and friendly delivery service every time for a very affordable price. Never had any issues foods always been hot and great tasting . Another great thing I'd like to point out is the shrimp are always Deveined and clean! In conclusion I def recommend There's something on the menu you for everyone's taste . I called to let them know and they were rude and said "we cut it down" and I explained that I had it before and it wasn't this bad. He said "well what do you want me to do about it?" Wow! Worst food I've had from delivery in the area. We ordered crab cake sandwiches and a chicken tender dinner. Chicken tenders were okay. Pretty standard with what all these delivery places offer. Same greasy, tasteless fries. Still edible, though. The crab cake sandwiches were another story entirely. The crab cakes are clearly made with fake crab; they taste and reek of fish. The majority of the cake was batter and filler; so cheap they couldn't even use a fair amount of fake crab! The crab cakes were so awful that I ended up pulling off the cakes and just using deli meat from the fridge. We threw away 80% of the sandwiches that we paid $26 for! Absolutely disgusting food. We aren't food snobs, but this is the most repulsive meal we've ever had from a delivery place. (And given we've ordered from dozens of places in dozens of states and countries, that says a LOT.) Don't waste your time or money on this place. If you do, at least do yourself a favor and avoid their "crab" at all costs. read more

We were so pleasantly surprised by the delicious Indian food from a pizza place that it has been our "go to" for awhile. However, it looks like Maria's is under new management, based on the new menu that no longer features some old favorites and the attitude of the staff. We had Butter Chicken and Lamb Tikka Masala that was melt in the mouth delicious so the food is still wonderful. But it was the attitude of the person taking the order and the person behind the counter (possibly same person) that was a real turn off. He could not have been any more indifferent and also unpleasant to me and also another customer who had the gall to request a cup. I guess good help is hard to find now, but let's hope that improves. read more

The concept started out fantastic. The food was fresh, reliably delicious and the pricing was pretty good. Something bad happened along the way. The inside of the building is now beyond filthy and falling apart with torn seats, damaged carpeting etc etc, the food isn't fresh nor is it worth the price you pay, the employee's aren't empowered to correct errors (or so they say) and, most recently, I was suppose to get credit back for a wrongly filled order which did not happen (I'm not fighting with poor management. Its always a waste of time). In the past, we'd order salads and wings or a couple subs (the sub rolls are to die for even still!), middle eastern food or a few different pizzas and there was care taken with each and every order. It have us the impression they loved to do their jobs and they loved their customers. We watched things decline in the past year and a half. I have already told them they've lost a very steady and loyal customer. The only thing left for them to do is to close the doors and move on so someone can add value to the neighborhood. 1 star is a lot to give to a failed concept, terrible customer relations and management/ownership that just doesn't care any more. read more

I ordered delivery from them on a Friday night and the service was pretty quick. Received our food within approximately 35 minutes. We ordered buffalo wings, a medium pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage and a chicken wrap. All of the food was extremely tasty, I was a huge fan of the wings, I think the ranch was made in house, which is nice. The pizza was cooked just fine and the cheese I think was my favorite part. I have been ordering from Maria's since the day they have opened. My family absolutely loves their food. The last 3 times I have ordered from them has been horrible, they have absolutely horrible customer service. Tonight I ordered something I have ordered probably 100 times from them when the food got here I opened up my gravy cheese fries and I could immediately tell they were not prepared the way I had asked. I took a bite and they were absolutely horrible the fries tasted raw. I called back and explained what I received versus what I had gotten. The order taker told me they would remake them. I told the female order taker exactly how I wanted my order and she tried to tell me "oh we don't have to do that because our gravy is hot", I understand your gravy is hot, but I want them placed in the oven. She says ok we will do that. I receive my order for the second time they still were not cooked properly. I call and speak to the manager and he tells me they didn't place them in the oven the order taker told the kitchen to cook them a different way. I am paying $8 for fries, I want them prepared how I ask not how she thinks they should be. This is not the first issue I've had with this particular order taker the first time was I asked for my pizza to be cooked a little longer and she tried to tell me "oh we cook it long enough". I know working in the food industry doesn't require much but it should require customer service skills. This young lady has absolutely none. There is no way she is a hired employee, I guarantee she is family of the owner or management. I will order one more time to use my credit but if I have another issue I'm done and I will make sure none of my family or friends order from them any longer. I have sent so many people there because they used to have the best food and the customer service was A-1, you could ask for an item prepared a special way and that is exactly what you got, now you have someone trying to make your mind up for you.
