I have had several pairs of pants hemmed here, and stopped by with my uniform and the patches. It was late in the afternoon, but they were able to get three patches sewn on for me before they closed for the evening. They did a great job and helped me look more professional for our presentation the next day.

Style Today was recommended by one of my favorite men's clothing stores. I bought a jacket and…read morepants I really liked - but nobody makes a suit that fits me off the rack. The clothes were nice and I wanted to look my best. I gave Style Today a try and the work was just perfect. Since then I have probably gone back a dozen times mostly hemming pants and shortening jacket sleeves. During my visits I've noticed numerous men and women with all kinds of clothing getting fitted - and never heard a complaint. I'm picky about clothes. I'm not anywhere near fashionable or stylish. But I like what I wear to fit well. It's a lovely little shop. Tina the owner and the other tailors and seamstresses are all working right there. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. They do excellent work. I've never needed anything in a rush - but have heard other people needing work turned around overnight or within a day and it sounds like they do their best to deliver. Oh - and Tina has a great eye: where sleeves should fall. Pants should be hemmed. Trust her judgement. I don't have the best eye for color and she helps me know what color shirts to buy. Sometimes I wish I could just take her shopping with me so I could pick out the best fits and fabrics and styles for her to make comfortable and attractive right from the beginning. Last time there was a customer wanting a total reworking of a jacket she had owned for several years and I watched as Tina explained what to do with the length, the sleeves, the width at shoulders and the tummy. As she explained it you could almost see the redesigned jacket taking form - and you knew it was going to look exciting and new. Wish I could be there to see when she picks it up. Try Style Today. I was shocked at this steep price & I made a comment on how expensive it is for just a hem on the length. He's also not friendly with a grouchy face & answered back, "the price should be double!" Thankfully he steamed my dress but as I was waiting for him to finish.. another customer came in to pick up 3 pants. It seems he forgot & asked the customer to either come back at the end of the day or tomorrow morning. What a bummer.. the guy was really understanding but still no apology from Ruben on not finishing Anyway.. $78 for an "express" hem on a bridesmaid dress. Dropped off Saturday & picked up Tuesday. I probably spent less than 5 minutes total on both of my visits and got exactly what I was asking for. It was as simple as walking up, tell them what you want, they'll ask for a specified date when you want the request completed, and then you just come back. I spoke to Mike initially about getting the patch removed and he was honest about it potentially leaving a mark where the patch was initially sewn on, which I didn't mind. The turnaround rate for the services was approximately 5 days, though I did say it was a no rush service. Not sure if it would have been more expensive had I not said that. Either way, satisfied with how both requests turned out. It was around $12 for removal and $14 for sewing on.

Only thing I didn't like was they told me it would take a week. After the week passed I didn't receive a call so I call in to check and the person who assisted my on the phone said they had already been done Less than the week. Now usually this wouldn't bug me since I didn't need the shorts right away but if it's something I need urgently, then I'm not sure if they would call me in time when it's actually done like they didn't before. It was my first time so I will see how the second time goes when I need another alteration. For the shorts they fixed, they look great like no alterations were done.
