However, they rushed my hem and there was remaining thread that were on my pants when I came home to wash them. I had to personally pull out the remaining thread from the original stitch. Service: They answered all the questions I had, very nice individuals who brought insightful advice and clear cost that you paid upfront. You can try on the product before hem and after hem in front of mirrors that have multiple perspectives. I brought in my pants on Friday and was given a timeframe of the following Friday. When I arrived earlier by 20-30 minutes of my timeframe, they did not work on my pants yet. I saw them working on my pants in the back and I ended up waiting 20 minutes past my allotted pick up time for my hemmed pants. Value: I waited a week for pants to be hemmed. I was surprised that my pants were given a 1-week timeline to be on the rack when they were hemmed on the same day less than 30-40 minutes and returned with rushed threading. However, I liked the clear pricing that customers received and it was at a reasonable price. Skillset: They seem very experienced in their work and are professional. If you're looking for a technical hem, I would come here with the understanding that they are skillful in their work, however you may not receive your product on time and it may be rushed.

When going and picking them up, you'll need the ticket they gave you, or they can find your clothing based on the phone number you gave. Service: The service is so good! All the store associates are so kind and welcome you! Location: The store is a little difficult to locate, so come to the side of the complex with the front of the stores, and look for a small sign above that says "Better Fit Alterations". They open around 8:30-9 AM on weekdays.

Style Today was recommended by one of my favorite men's clothing stores. I bought a jacket and…read morepants I really liked - but nobody makes a suit that fits me off the rack. The clothes were nice and I wanted to look my best. I gave Style Today a try and the work was just perfect. Since then I have probably gone back a dozen times mostly hemming pants and shortening jacket sleeves. During my visits I've noticed numerous men and women with all kinds of clothing getting fitted - and never heard a complaint. I'm picky about clothes. I'm not anywhere near fashionable or stylish. But I like what I wear to fit well. It's a lovely little shop. Tina the owner and the other tailors and seamstresses are all working right there. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. They do excellent work. I've never needed anything in a rush - but have heard other people needing work turned around overnight or within a day and it sounds like they do their best to deliver. Oh - and Tina has a great eye: where sleeves should fall. Pants should be hemmed. Trust her judgement. I don't have the best eye for color and she helps me know what color shirts to buy. Sometimes I wish I could just take her shopping with me so I could pick out the best fits and fabrics and styles for her to make comfortable and attractive right from the beginning. Last time there was a customer wanting a total reworking of a jacket she had owned for several years and I watched as Tina explained what to do with the length, the sleeves, the width at shoulders and the tummy. As she explained it you could almost see the redesigned jacket taking form - and you knew it was going to look exciting and new. Wish I could be there to see when she picks it up. Try Style Today. You'll go back.

Best pricing I have found in OC for hems! As a short girl with short legs, I frequently need to…read moreget pants hemmed. Where I live in South OC, most places charge at least $15 per hem, which really adds up. This place did it for $4.50, or $9 for the wide legs. Well worth the drive! I dropped off seven pairs and it was less than $40. The only thing I would have liked they gave me more clarity about was to let me know when I called that wide legs would be more. But I think that is pretty standard practice, so I wasn't too mad. This place is kind of hard to find because it is so small. My navigation was telling me that I had arrived and I wasn't seeing it until I saw the small sign next to the dentist office. It was unclear on whether or not we could park in the small lot between this place and the apartment buildings, so to play it safe if I parked across the street by the supermarket, which I really enjoyed visiting after. We don't have a lot of Mexican supermarkets in South OC where I live, so it was fun to pick up some things from there and made the drive out more worth it as well. Turnover time was great as well. I can't comment on more difficult or involved jobs because I didn't use them for that, but I highly recommend coming here for hems.

I requested a simple alteration of my dress straps and she was able to add a pocket to the as well! I could barely breathe I called Suzie while I was in my dress lol and asked her if I could come in to get it altered (around opening 10:30am) on a Monday morning. She asked when I was available and I said I could come right now! I didn't even end up taking the dress off and just drove right over to her. She let me know she would be able to take it out an inch and a half. YAY! Suzie was super nice too. She asked me if I was Filipino (I am!) and I asked her if she was Korean (she is!) We chatted for a bit and she made me laugh. She told me she would move the zipper (which she needed to do to let it out), let it out, and hem the bottom, for a little under $150 (roughly $70 to hem and $40 to let out and another $40 to move the zipper)! She gave me a date that it would be ready by and told me to call before coming just to be confirm she was done. I called ahead, came back and the dress was PERFECT! Suzie did such a great job. The dress fit well and now I had room to dance, eat, and most importantly BREATHE haha Suzie took payment via Zelle (nice and easy). She was so great and easy to work with! If I ever need anything altered in the future, I will definitely come back here! Side note about the business: It's located on the street. There is a small parking lot located directly behind the suites. I believe there is also street parking, but the parking lot is easy to reach since you can get to it by turning on A St or B St. There's a hole in the middle of the buildings from the parking lot so you can access the suites from the lot without having to go around. See you next time Suzie! Thank you :)
