Dino and his crews were great! Our backyard was transformed in 90 days. Every contractor crew that came out was friendly and efficient. Communication was good, we added on to our initial plan quite a bit and Dino got every added request done. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. We had a pool built, 2 paver patio areas put in, added electrical through out the backyard, had an RV gate installed and had our yard filled with rock from just having an untouched dirt yard. Will plan to use maricopa pool and landscape design on more future projects!

We had a very good experience with Maricopa Pools and Landscape. The Pool build was exactly what we were wanting and expecting. The build timeline was exactly what was told to us. We wanted a custom design with a sunken kitchen/BBQ area for a swim up bar and they made it all come together. Dino was always available and helpful for all our questions throughout the build. The only hiccup we had throughout the build was inspections with the city because of the special design with the sunken kitchen/bbq area, but Dino got it all figured out with them. The pool, spa, and sunken bbq turned out great. Thank you Dino for all the hard work from you and your crew.

Pool and Deck - Before work begins

My wife Cheri and I recently hired Dino and his team to chipout and resurface our backyard pool as well as grinding the top surface off of our pool deck and resurfacing it. I simply cannot say enough good things about the quality of work that was performed and the care his team took in both cleaning up after themselves and caring for our property as if it were their own. Not only was the work beautiful and very professional but done in a very timely manner, with work starting within days of accepting Dino's quote and all work was completed in the next 4 weeks. If you are needing any resurfacing work done to your pool, and you want professional quality at a fair price, do yourself a favor and give Dino a call. I'm confident that you'll be as happy as we are.

    New pool

We highly recommend Maricopa Pools and Landscape. We worked directly with Dino and was amazing. Our pool was built quick, the communication and work flow was so smooth. The permitting process was also quick and all in all this company was so affordable. Thank you Dino and team.

    Pure refreshment!

After reading reviews for most of the pool companies in the Phoenix area, we were wondering if it was possible to avoid those types of nightmares. However, we received an excellent recommendation for a local business named Maricopa Pools. The pool construction was timely, quoted cost did not change, received good advice on source of financing, have a great pool and landscaping, in addition to concrete pad for trash and recycle cans. One of their best attributes is willingness to communicate in a timely fashion. This is a major project and major expense. We can't express how happy we are over the outcome. I would encourage you to read, extensively, the reviews on other vendors first. Then call Maricopa Pools.

    Spa, shallow end of pool

We had an exceptional experience having our saltwater pool and attached spa designed and constructed by Dino -owner of Maricopa Pools and Landscape Design. In our preliminary research, we visited a number of larger pool builders with showrooms and pool "parks," to get a sense of what was available in our price range. We knew we wanted an inground pool at least 5 1/2 feet deep on the deepest end with an attached spa. We knew we wanted salt water and cool decking with a modern clean design. We were quoted prices ranging from $78,000-$100,000 and informed that the process could take from 6 to 18 months because of a "shot Crete shortage" in Arizona. (There was much conspiracy talk about shot Crete from the show room guys, I later came to realize this was how they could avoid entering into agreements about construction timeframes). Our budget was $60,000, all-in. We started looking closer to home and found excellent reviews about Maricopa Pools and the owner, Dino. Rather than a hard sell and unsubtle negging of our priorities and limits (ahem Presidential) Dino came to us, learned our expectations and budget, found a way to meet each of our requirements, connected us with a highly responsive (similarly no BS ) financing person, and established a three month timeframe from contract signing to completion. We signed on October 3 2022 and it was done before Christmas. It is absolutely beautiful. Dino was responsive and in constant contact with us as well as with the subcontractors at all times during the process. On-time, beautiful quality and functionality, and within budget. We cannot endorse Maricopa Pools and Dino highly enough.

I got lots of quotes and had 5 6 or so companies come out to provide estimates for the scope of work. Jason, owner of The Hardworkers, was the last estimate I got,. We initially had concrete in mind, but Jason let us know he got of out concrete and primarily does pavers, as they look better and are stronger. We honestly just assumed pavers would be out of our price range, but opted to get a quote to remove a few sections of our walkway to add the driveway, raise the wall and then a quote to pave around our shed. Though the quote may not have been the cheapest, we also added a project and the over value and product could not be beat. I also truly believe you get what you pay for and Jason and his team do awesome work. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality, attention to details and efficiency his team provides. Not to mention were well in range of some of the basic concrete other companies were going to provide, It took about four days from start to finish. We will definitely be calling his them again for any future projects and highly recommend for any projects you are looking to get done!

We got 5 different quotes, and even though they came in higher than some, they do a great job of educating you on why, and they have all the receipts to back that up. We went with them for that peace of mind, the unmatched warranty, and knowing it would be done correctly and not falling apart in a couple years. They way they manage the entire project from the first to last step, is a constant reminder on why they are worth it. They run this ship like a well oiled machine! Every appointment was so professional, always on time, and always informative. From the very first appointment with Joe, he was so kind and personable and informative. He really treats the whole appointment like an educational session, and I understand why now. I was thankful for all the information, and how non-salesy he is, no pressure and just really comfortable and detailed as well. He provided very professional, detailed drawings and photos of what it would look like. When we met the project manager, Chris, he was just as friendly and personable and informative. He kept us updated at every step, and was on top of every detail. He always texted us updates, and very communicative. The crew they sent out - AMAZING. Not only did they get the job done in half the time, but their attention to detail was above and beyond! They were very friendly, and top notch on their work ethic. On the final clean up day, I was expecting maybe an hour of tidying up, but what I got was one extremely dedicated guy that spent 5 hours METICULOUSLY double checking every inch of my entire yard, even the areas that they did not work on. He cleaned every inch of our yard, the street, the driveway and even part of our neighbors! He held a level AGAIN at every section of the pavers and double checked it, and then he cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Every time I thought he was almost done, he'd come back with a new tool for more cleaning. Truly, I've never seen a crew work so hard and diligently and be so scrupulous with their attention to detail. You also get a portal to track the entire project, and to access all the warranty and contract docs that no one wants to file anyway. I would highly highly recommend System Pavers for any project, and we will absolutely use them again. Thank you!

We chose System Pavers because they were the premium option. They were also the highest bid we…read morereceived (around $38,000), but we believed we were paying for quality, expertise, and project management. Their sales presentation was impressive, and we were told they would coordinate everything for our pool patio remodel. Unfortunately, our experience looked nothing like the polished videos we were shown. The project stretched from February 5 until May 14 and required constant homeowner involvement. Instead of having a project manager ensuring the work met quality standards, I felt like I became the project's quality-control inspector, inspecting every stage of construction, discovering mistakes, documenting issues, and asking for them to be corrected. I expected to hire a contractor. Instead, I spent three months acting as the quality-control inspector for my own project. During the project we dealt with broken pool pipes, damage to our pool aerator, fill tank, and underground plumbing, uncapped sprinkler lines beneath the patio, missing weed barriers, uneven pool coping, improper edging, damaged landscaping, and extensive construction debris left throughout our property and neighboring yards. In addition, several pieces of our personal property were damaged or destroyed, including a broken pool net, broken garden hoses, a seven-foot wooden shade post that workers used as a cutting surface, and a planter that was thrown away after crews moved retaining wall blocks to drive equipment through our yard. We also endured weeks of piles of pavers, dirt, rocks, and construction materials stacked in front of both our home and neighboring properties, along with plastic bottles, McDonald's bags, and other food waste left behind by crews. One thing that became obvious was the lack of communication between departments. The salesperson promised certain things that the installation crews clearly never knew about. For example, we specifically discussed reusing our landscape rock, but it was thrown away during demolition because that information never reached the crew. Customer service became increasingly frustrating. When we emailed management documenting workmanship concerns, we received little response regarding the actual problems but had no trouble receiving payment requests. During one phone call, the project manager told us, "We thought the ship had sailed on customer service." Hearing that after months of issues was incredibly disappointing. One issue that really damaged our trust involved the sprinkler system beneath the patio. When water started shooting through the middle of the new pavers, we were initially told the lines had definitely been capped and it must simply be leftover water. Once someone inspected the problem in person, the response became, "Oh, we must not have capped them." Because multiple pool components had already been damaged during demolition, I insisted on having the underground plumbing pressure tested before resurfacing the pool. That test found additional damage that required repair before the pool could be completed. Had we not pushed for that testing, the pool company told us hidden leaks could have remained beneath newly installed plaster. Near the end of the project, I refused to sign the Certificate of Completion until the remaining work was finished. I was initially told work would have to be delayed if I didn't sign first. After refusing, management then said they would finish the work regardless of my signature. That experience left me questioning why there was so much pressure to sign paperwork before the project was actually complete. To be fair, not everything was negative. The second project manager, Jose Corral, completely changed the direction of the project. He was knowledgeable, honest, respectful, and immediately recognized many of the quality issues that had been overlooked. He worked hard to make things right and deserves recognition because he was the one person who consistently treated us like valued customers. I understand that construction projects can have unexpected challenges. My frustration isn't that everything didn't go perfectly--it's that we paid premium pricing and repeatedly had to advocate for issues that should never have occurred in the first place. Looking back, I don't regret investing in our home--I regret having to spend three months acting as the quality-control inspector on a premium-priced project. Homeowners shouldn't have to monitor every phase of construction just to ensure the work is completed correctly. If you're considering System Pavers, keep detailed written records, photograph every phase of the project, inspect everything before it gets covered up, and don't sign completion paperwork until every punch-list item has been completed. I'm sure we all know just how bad the water is out here in AZ, so you can imagine how unappealing my pool looked after years of neglect. Josh, the owner, was very responsive when I asked for a quote and came out I think the next day after I messaged him to look at my pool in person. He measured out the linear feet of my pool, answered questions I had about pool maintenance, and gave me a fair quote for the services I needed, based off pool size. I ended up getting my pool drained, tiles bead blasted, 5 loose tiles glued back on, gaps in the grout caulked, and starter chemicals added to my pool once it was filled with water. Josh even came by and vacuumed up the debris left in my pool from the days after poolwork. For the grout work, RNW subcontracted another pool company to come in to handle that task, and to be honest, I was not happy with the quality that pool company provided. But when I reached out to RNW about the subcontractor issue, Josh immediately made it right. Because of how professional, fair priced, and customer focused they are, RNW deserves all the great reviews and 5 stars on here.
