Andy ripped me off for $18,000 and gave me absolutely nothing but paint outlines on my pool deck. When I checked on his contractor license number on his website, turns out it's not his, and the owner of it texted me and said "Andy is a con man". He then sent a lawyer after ME to remove these reviews, which are 100% factual - he did nothing and never returned my money. Save yourself and choose another pool company!! read more

I had Andy build my pool and it is amazing. Not all only did the pool come out great, he build a beautiful water fall, fire pit and complete decking around the entire the back yard. I send photos of the pool to my friends and family and they are amazed. I did have one piece of equipment fail after it was installed and he came out, replaced the unit and it was all his warranty and have no problems since. in the end, my husband and I are very happy with the pool. that being said, the process was horrible. By the end of it, we were no longer speaking to the contractor. Finally got everything done, but it was not a pleasant process at all. We have had issues with the decking cracking and pieces falling off of the edge, it's now been 5 years and we will be finding someone else to make repairs. FYI Andy put in a pool and wrote up a shabby contract. I had a 5 year warranty for the pool pump that went bad in 1 year. I texted and called him multiple times and got to the point of being angry because of no responses for a week. Finally he replies back, you get more bees with honey. ???? And then nothing. This company is a huge scam! Had to spend money out of my own pocket for the pool pump to get fixed. It took me awhile to get to this yelp review but now I'm finally coming out since I feel that other people need to be warned before proceeding with this company. We had AZ Best Priced Pools build an 80 perimeter foot free form pool for us last summer. It was the lowest of 3 bids and took 7 weeks to complete. We were very pleased with the results. My husband was the one who maintained the pool & system. Whenever he had a question or an issue, Andy always got right back to him. My husband recently passed away. When Andy Alvarado found out, he immediately called me to see if there was anything that he could do for me. I said I would love it if he could give me a quick lesson on the pump & salt system. I had a pool built with these people, I'm very satisfied and they did excellent work. They finished when they said they would, and my whole family loves the pool. Four years after The pool was built, the pump went out. We had a five year warranty and they came and fixed it with no charge. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY!! We called AZ Best Priced Pools for a quote and Andy Alvarado sent out his brother Dave to do the estimate. We called AZ Best Priced Pools and ended up under contract with his brother Dave of Dave's Construction (who works under his brother, Andy Alvarado's, Contractor's License). Yes, we did get a good price but Dave didn't know what the heck he was doing. Dave constantly called his brother Andy, who was here on the job a few times, to guide his brother Dave some what in the right direction. Towards the end of the project, Dave ran out of money and didn't stay to finish. He up and left leaving our backyard a disaster and left some tools and equipment here. We made numerous phone calls/text messages to Dave and he never returned to finish the job after he said he would. Since then we had to hire his electrician & pay directly (to install blower that electrician wouldn't provide to Dave because Dave owed him too much money) , a plumber (plumbing hooked up wrong), Leslie's Pool Supply (Hayward Rep) for the heater he supplied which never worked from day one, a landscaper to fix the botched stairs to jacuzzi, not to mention rocks that came off the day after Dave quit showing up. We are still needing to apply stucco and paint to exterior of the jacuzzi. This project started the beginning of March and we were told it would take 2 weeks to complete and here we are the end of July. I just received a phone call from Andy after I sent him a short email to try and resolve this matter. He yelled and threatened me that he would sue me for slander if I wrote any negative reviews about his company instead of trying to come to a resolution. I'm not saying DO NOT use AZ Best Priced Pools, but then again I can't vouch for their work, but I would make certain you are getting AZ Best Priced Pools and not a relative, check their ID's!! read more

I am so happy we decided to go with Andy's pool company. We had great service all along the way and have been enjoying swimming in our beautifully finished pool. Andy is the owner and he was very present through the whole process. He stopped by frequently to see how things were going and answer our questions.
