We had to move to Fort Worth in a hurry and found a duplex we liked through Turn Key. The property…read moreitself is fairly nice, however it took an absurd amount of emails just to find out what we would owe on move in and then many more to get the lease signed. Overall dealing with Turn Key is a huge pain. In the first week we have had several maintenance issues that have been a huge hassle because we have to go through them to get anything fixed or otherwise pay to fix the problem ourselves. In summation, the extra room and yard we get with a duplex is great, but I am not sure it is worth the hassle. I'd rather not have all the problems and trouble that comes with a management company that is very difficult to deal with and based an hour away.

When I told him I thought it was pretty sorry that he hadn't contacted me for 4 months, his response was that " He tended to agree that it was pretty sorry". This is beyond bad business. They've begun adding additional fees to the 2.5% online service fee ($25) and are calling it an NSF fee (the first thing I do on second payday of the month is pay the next months rent, there was 1,486 and change in the account, rent is $850, $875 with the service fee). They declined initial payment on the 28th of January 2025 for the month of February. I had to re send the payment on January 30th, it went through by February 2nd. They charged a late fee and refuse to rescind it or offer me credit towards next months rent. They are demanding CASH payments for all future rent deposits.
