I, of course, looked on Yelp and found Cleanest Maids. I was impressed by their history on how the business came about and decided to reach out via Yelp messenger. Kelli and another staff member came to my home for a deep clean and they did exactly that! They arrived early and cleaned for four hours! They cleaned all of the rooms, including the kitchen and living room, wiping the base boards and dusted everything! Needless to say, I was very please with their work and especially their work ethic! My house is now very clean, so I'm very happy! Overall, I'm very satisfied with the great job they did on my home! I'll be reaching out to them again in the near future!

I work in property insurance, so this is a standard precaution I recommend to my own clients. I actually hired them in 2020 for a cleaning and it went fine, which is why I reached out again. This time, the company told me they had never been asked for a COI by a client before, and shortly after, they cancelled my appointment, saying they felt I was "setting them up." I was surprised by this reaction, as reputable service providers typically have liability insurance and can provide proof without issue. Because they refused to provide a COI and cancelled my booking, I cannot speak to the quality of their current work. However, I would caution other homeowners that if you want to ensure a vendor is insured, this may not be the right company for you.

Before booking, I spoke at length with the owner, Christopher, about my safety concerns given the amount of sheetrock dust throughout the home, and I specifically requested that "all surfaces" be cleaned. He was warm and reassuring on the phone, quoted me $800, and I felt confident enough to skip getting a second bid -- a mistake I now regret. On the day of service, his wife and the cleaning crew arrived in a Mercedes SUV without proper safety equipment for a site with probable asbestos contamination. She then had to leave pre-job to purchase N95 masks and HEPA filters for their vacuums, and it was clear she hadn't been briefed on the home's history. Christopher arrived later to walk me through the work. When I pointed out an area that had been missed, he had the crew clean it, and he personally re-cleaned a sink that still showed paint markings and countertops still coated in texture spray overspray. The next day, once I could inspect more thoroughly, I found the window sills filthy and the tops of the kitchen cabinets still covered in dust. Christopher agreed to send the crew back to re-clean and blamed the lapses on having too many crew members and unclear task assignments. Ten days later, when I finally moved in, I pulled the refrigerator out to plug it in and found dirt and dust underneath and on the back half of the unit's top -- the front half had been wiped clean, but not the back. Behind the lowest pull-out cabinet, I found a thick layer of fine sheetrock dust that had clearly never been touched. I cleaned all of this myself and sent Christopher photos, reminding him I'd paid a premium price for what was supposed to be a thorough, premium clean given the known contamination. His response was to list everything his crew had done, blame the carpet installers for the dust (which doesn't hold up -- the dust was only found in the untouched area below the pull-out, not on the pull-out itself, which the carpet crew would have equally affected), and suggest that if I'd been more polite when reporting the problem, he'd have come back again. He ultimately refused any refund. For $800, I expected a crew equipped and briefed to handle a known asbestos-adjacent job, and a genuinely thorough clean of every surface I was told would be covered. Instead I got missed hazardous dust in multiple spots, a defensive response when I raised it, and no accountability.
