The jewelry items I have purchased, mostly t.jazelle bracelets, are all lovely. I made 3 negative comments about an employee who is extremely self-centered and is constantly playing with her hair while modeling the jewelry items online. Because of my lame comments that were truthful but did not meet with Dawn's approval, I was removed from the VIP site. It's a shame a customer cannot be open and truthful!!! When I look at jewelry online I want to see the jewelry items and not a woman so stuck on herself that this becomes a beauty pageant rather than selling jewelry. Dawn at Marie's Jewelry pierced my daughter's ears last summer. Not only was her technique perfect, she was also fantastic with handling my daughter's anxiety over having the piercing done. She makes it really fun and exciting, let's the child pick out their earrings, calms them down, and makes it a really happy experience for them. She gave us perfect advice on how to do the aftercare for the new piercing and my daughter had no complications after at all. I've heard awful stories of people who went to other piercing places with bad infections after, but ours went perfectly! This is also a family run business where all the employees are super friendly. I tried on a beautiful necklace during the Christmas holidays that my boyfriend ended up buying me for Christmas. Today (6/19) I went in there to see what else I may like. The first necklace the young lady with dark hair wouldn't let go for me to look at until I asked can I see it. Than she asked me for id before I could see anything else. Ive never been asked for id looking at jewelers in any store before. I didn't notice any signs that read you must show id to look at any jewelry. Went to buy a Christmas gift with my daughter and was rudely stopped at the door by "security". He told me to turn my hat to face the back or remove my hat because the store had recently been robbed and the security cameras did not see the thief so they had a policy of no hats or hoodies which I did not see at the door. As I was being stopped another female caucasian customer had her hat on and was not being harassed. When I asked about the other customer they said it wasn't a baseball cap but the policy said no hats. I feel I was just racially profiled because I am hispanic with a beard. I will not be shopping there anymore. Its sad because I have purchased gifts from them before. I felt embarrassed and my young daughter also felt embarrassed. read more

I highly recommend going to Marie's for all of your jewelry!!! I saw a ring they posted online and loved it and it came with a great price tag so I stopped by the store looking for something similar. Dawn was a huge help when I was trying on rings and had some great suggestions!! I was specific about what I wanted so she suggested having a custom ring made. Days later my husband went there alone and they were so nice to him!! Marie and Dawn sat down with him and designed my anniversary ring off of what I told them and one picture my husband had. They gave him a great price and had excellent financing options available. It took a couple weeks as expected and it was absolutely worth the wait!!! When I saw the ring I almost fell on the floor it was PERFECT!!!! I couldn't help but cry because I was honestly shocked that it was that perfect!! It was exactly what I wanted and absolutely stunning!!!!! The attention to detail that they put into this ring is incredible!!! My husband had one picture to go off of and I casually mentioned a few details I liked and the things I would change about the rings I had tired on in the store and they put it all together and knocked it out of the park!!!! Terrible customer service. Purchased a $100 ring for a gift for a friend, and after only a month of having, the stone fell out. The store blamed the customer for this occurring and wasn't of any assistance in replacing the stone. Disgusted in the way I was treated after the amount of money I have spent in the store in the past. Will not be returning and will do everything in my power for anyone I know to do the same. read more
