The handymen who showed up were very polite, neat, communicative, and knowledgeable, and i…read moreappreciated their work. However, the rate that i was charged at $180/hr for each person to put together 3 beds was ridiculous. This was not transparent in their quote. I was under the impression that would be $180 for both ($90/hr) which is still expensive but doable. $180/hr per person is more than a Union Contractor makes in NYC. The Handymen were just there to build 3 beds! The price was insane and i will NEVER use them again. If you wish to use them, please make sure they provide you with a detailed breakdown of the costs (not just a per hour quote) so you are not surprised like i was.
