I choose this office due to me wanting my son to have an African American woman physician. My first visit with the her was great but the office staff is not friendly at all. I walked in the office at 2:10pm and one lady was helping a couple and the other lady was prancing back and forth in and out of the front. She did not even acknowledge me. I figured they were busy because they haven't been answering the phone for the past hour. When she finally asked to help me she stated that I could not be seen. But she needed to go to the back and see if the doctor already has someone. She then proceeded to tell me we had to be scheduled. I had told her that we was well within the grace period of 15 mins and that I had been calling to reach someone. She tells me with an attitude that I was supposed to press 1 to reach the clinic. But when you call 1 is for new patients and 2 is for established patients. How was I supposed to know to press 1, when we are not a new patient. I'm very disappointed in the front staff. You are the first impression to the office and you failed once again when it comes to being friendly. Not only that the second woman who claims to be clinical staff didn't answer as well. I left a voicemail. She looks like either she was tired or moving very slow and slurred. My son still was not seen today. I ended up speaking with one of the managers because the clinical manager of that department was not in. I'm supposed to get a phone call to possibly do a video appointment, which would be nice because my son like his doctor but I never want to interact with that front staff again! And if we can't do a telephone visit, I will be asking for a referral and all of my son records to go somewhere els.

We were able to make appointment and come in the next day for consult. The clinician Megan is fantastic. She really took the time to go over tummy time and some neck stretching exercises with us to do at home. Then they took measurements of our daughters head that was quick and easy. The clinical report is incredible with her head and the measurements. We were told our daughter is too young for a cranial band, but to work on the exercises we went over, and come back in 6 weeks to take measurements again of our daughters head then we can decide if want the DOC band for her head. The consults are FREE and only have to contact insurance and figure out payment if need a DOC band. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for my family

No apologies for his lack of responsibility and careless attitude about people's time. Now, if we get there 10 minutes late, we would have to reschedule and perhaps even pay as no show.

I throughly enjoyed my visit with Dr Hearn. I found her shy at first, but during our conversation, she warmed up quickly and developed a nice reporé with me. She listened, was attentive, knowledgeable and provided great information in a very supportive manner. She offered suggestions regarding several of my comments. I enjoyed her demeanor, caring eyes, and attentiveness. I trust her with my care and look forward to being a long-term patient of hers. I found the facility to be clean, the other staff I met friendly, kind and professional. They have an in-house lab so I could have my blood drawn during the visit.

One being a 'mental health assesment' for the doctor to provide better patient care. It was a short quick survey about stress. I didn't think much about it. Come to find out, I was billed $79.85 for completing said survey, and this is not prevantative care, so I am at cost on this. DO NOT COMPLETE ANY UNNESSARY PAPERWORK. They will charge you apparently and refuse to refund said charge. I have no access to whatever this mental health assessment was, and I did not ask for it. Bad practices by this organization.

This staff will take the time to break it down. I've met with two of the surgeons here. Competent and charming. It's like being transported back to small town doctors office. The listen and care. The elderly lady then came to window, to tell them the doctor said she did not need to check out, then they confirmed it. AND DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE TO THE LADY. I get into the room, doctor did great, nurse who was helping doctor did great. LEFT. Now I am insane amount of pain from location of procedure, I call at 8am, then again at 11am to be pushed into voicemails. To get a call back at 3:15pm to be told I can come get it but they close by 4pm. ... uh what? you ON PURPOSE waited till the last moment to tell me I can drive there to come get the script? This is terrible, I will be sending this issue to as many Wellstar as I can, this should not be allowed.
