Great, professional service provided by Brian and his team. We booked a round trip between San Rafael and SFO. Besides the prompt service from the time we booked the reservation, the professional and courteous drivers, and the immaculate vehicles for both trips, I was amazed at the extra steps Brian took when he realized we had given him the wrong flight information for our return trip. After not being able to reach us by text,phone or email (we were out of the country and without cell phone service) to let us know the information I had provided for our flight back to SF was incorrect, he did his own research, identified the correct flight info, and had his driver waiting for us at SFO when we landed at 1 AM in the morning. I used the service to bring my wife to the city for our anniversary. I was a little nervous because I had made a little plan with dinner and a show that required timely arrivals and my wife is always late to everything but airlines, and she cuts those pretty close. I figured that if I scheduled a limousine she was much more likely to be on time, not to mention feel special, which is good for anniversaries. I even made sure that the car would wait patiently for my wife at the house if she was late. Everything was great. Brian was the driver. He was on time. My wife was on time. She said they had a really nice chat on the way to the city. I received an appropriate amount of communication enroute to know that all was well without so much as to annoy. Great service! I scheduled a pick up for 6 people at 3 different locations with Brian. Fernando arrived at our house exactly on time and picked up the other two couples without the need for directions. Three and a half weeks later we landed at SFO with a text from Brian saying Fernando was our pick up driver and to call him after we picked up our baggage. We waited exactly 2 minutes at the curb for pick up. On the way back Fernando used short cuts to route us around heavy traffic on 19th Ave. I highly recommend Marin Car Service for your airport transportation needs. Certainly individual taste is an important part of of the rated experience. Taste, however, is not so important in the above rating. My experience was that the above factors were important and outstanding. I did not rate the clothing of the drivers; don't even recall anything about their dress. They weren't in swim suits or tuxedos. I have another trip coming up and plan to call Marin Car Service for my local transportation needs. read more

I hired Brian and crew to take 12 teenage boys to Six Flags. This required some serious logistical thought, as there were city and Marin kids, a different pick up location and drop off location later. Brian made it seamless - so easy & most importantly VERY SAFE; we (moms) did not want the boys taking carloads of their friends to an amusement park an hour away, but the boys definitely did not want their moms around! Marin Car Service was the perfect solution - the boys felt "cool" in their black SUVs, no moms around, but we were assured that the drivers were totally vetted and boys would get exactly where they were going. I called to request a car to pick me up at the airport, and the man that answered the phone literally shouted at me and told me he was unavailable and to stop calling (I had called twice because it went straight to voicemail). I booked Marin Car Service once a few years ago when my elderly mother and I had to take a plane trip. The owner of the company seemed nice at first then quickly became impatient and rude to my mother. She was moving too slowly for his schedule. I offered to bail-- pay him, let him go, call a cab, and use the company for our return. He declined my offer and continued to be rude and impatient. And that really bugged me! For the return trip, one of the other drivers picked us up. I told him what had happened and he said his boss was like that-- usually very nice but sometimes a complete a--hole. read more

Instead of showing up at 4:00 pm they came to our house at 4:00 am, waking us up at an ungodly hour. We have a long flight ahead of us and now will be very tired. I'm a fan! We booked a ride to and from Oakland airport for our family of 5 and it was a dream. Our driver Fernando was there on time both ways and it took all the worry off us. He helped load bags and was very professional. Brian was the one I booked and emailed with and he was also super responsive and helpful. He emailed me back always immediately. I have used Brian and his drivers a few times now. I travel a lot for work and have been through quite a few services in Marin. Dealt with late drivers, dirty cars, bad drivers, and no-shows.
