I had to chase them for status and follow-up. The project took 4 months to complete with workers at my home less than 1/3 of the time. Work quality was poor and I had to QA the work. Agreed to rework was not completed. I contacted K&HD and informed them that I would have the balance work completed by others after giving them over 4 months to finish. Needless to say, I did not agree to pay for unfinished work. After expressing my discontent, KH&D sent me an invoice with outrageous costs for "changes" that they failed to communicate/get approval of in advance. They have failed to send anyone or communicate with me to rectify the situation other than the project manager who was originally assigned the work. My original intent was for K&HD to complete the balance of my remodel; however that plan changed when they failed to perform satisfactorily. I am very disappointed as I had high hopes for K&HD originally.

The latter might have newcomers feeling a little overwhelmed with the process, but I appreciate the variety in colors and patterns. I also really love the real world setups for the bathroom and kitchen. Estimates will vary, but do a little comparison shopping to ensure the best price. I feel the prices are competitive but might be a little more than some other places. At the end of the day, quality matters a lot, and they certainly have no shortage of that. Be sure to take home sample tiles for comparison and have a list of questions ready for the staff.
