I thought this was going to be cheaper because they took my insurance, wrong!!! This is just robbery. So unfair that they can not tell you the cost before you do it. I feel so ripped off. But once I got into the exam room, I was immediately turned away because I didn't bring prior medical records that were apparently necessary to complete the exam. No one ever contacted me to let me know I needed to bring these records. Yet they had no problem calling me beforehand to make sure I knew how much I owed and to offer a same-day payment discount. This is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication not only wasted my time and money, but added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Patients deserve better--especially when dealing with something as serious and scary as a potential breast health issue.

I think they are currently understaffed. I waited well over six months for an appointment. I even talked to a real person on at least two occasions. Finally, I just walked into the office one day and I got an appointment immediately for the next week. Another tip is to make sure the therapists are measuring you on every visit if you are asking for any kind of insurance paid medical equipment. I went another two months at least without realizing that they weren't doing that. At every visit, I reminded them that I need the equipment. They even said that they needed to measure me. She entered the room with visible irritation, offered no greeting of substance, and spoke to me with the weary impatience of someone forced to endure an unwanted obligation. Each attempt I made to explain my concerns or medical history was met with sighs, interruptions, and an unmistakable air of disdain. The examination itself was perfunctory--one cursory pass with a stethoscope, a few perfunctory remarks, and she was gone. The entire interaction lasted only minutes, yet my insurance was billed close to $1,000. There was no inquiry, no empathy, no sense of responsibility toward the patient before her. What should have been a moment of care felt more like a business transaction stripped of all humanity. I left feeling belittled, dismissed, and ashamed for having expected decency. If your hope is to find a physician who listens, explains, or treats you as more than a billing opportunity, I would strongly advise seeking care elsewhere.

I saw that the entrance doors open outward, which seemed to be a problem for some people. The reception gave me directions, and I found Radiology quickly. X-Ray staff were super friendly and helpful. It was not lit and clearly disgusting. There were no open appointments for three weeks and desperately needed to get this done so had to try to walk in. When you walk in it's all automated so you just sign up and wait. We got there at 11 am and they close at 12 (Saturday). At 11:30 someone who works there comes out and says they will not be servicing anyone after 11:50. At that point we are #6 in line so probably not happening. They come out again at 11:47 to say no one else is getting in. They were kind of rude in how they talked to everyone in the waiting area. Why we had to wait for 30 minutes to find this out is beyond me. There has to be a better way. They could tell you this when you first register.
