I have to say, I'm not huge on writing reviews because I'm not strong at making recommendations unless my very picky criteria has been met. However after my first time getting waxed with Marina, I couldn't help to rave to family, friends and coworkers! Each time I make an appointment with Marina, she is polite, patient and we ALWAYS have the most interesting conversations (its never awkward). Getting a brazilian and underarms are painful, but Marina knows how to wax in a way where you don't feel as much pain (it still hurts, and who ever tells you otherwise lied to you), but you will not regret the decision. Marina takes it a step further and removes ingrown hairs using a sterile instrument right out of the packaging. She wears a mask, face shield, foot covers and sanitizes between clients. The appartment is super clean and has such a zen feel to it, which I love. Marina is amazing and does such great work. I usually don't write reviews, but I really think Marina deserves this one! I've done sugaring and waxing before with Sugaring NYC and European Wax Center, so I've had some experience, but most of my experiences were mediocre at best. I feel that I'm often rushed due to overbooking, and when I get home, I find too many stray hairs for the amount that I pay. I really enjoyed my time with Marina because she did not rush at all, the appointment took 1 hr 45 min, and I received an excellent service that exceeded my expectations. When I got home, I checked for any stray hairs on my Brazilian area and there were none at all, only on my legs but that is because I shaved this month, and the hairs were barely even there. I'm so glad that I went with my gut and made an appointment with Marina, it was worth the 40 minute commute and I've already recommended a few of my friends! I will definitely be back:) read more

I was greeted warmly by Marina at the door and walked into a a lovely lit room where i met Ira. Ira was sweet and welcoming, she explained the whole process, cleaned and started sugaring. She was spectacular, very detailed and did such amazing job. Through out the whole time Marina was nearby to guide and help. Marina is amazing at her art and is a great teacher as well. The perfect waxing experience. Everytime!!! Been to marina a few times, such a professional, welcoming, sanitary worker! So glad I found her. Her place is very easy to find off the train. The place is very sanitary & organized and so is she (changes gloves few time throughout). She prepares you for anything you need too, helps with breathing exercises if needed! Marina greeted me at the door with a smile. She was very warm and welcoming. It was very easy to schedule an appointment with her and I was able to come in within one day of scheduling. I felt very safe, even with everything going on in the world. She has the right safety measures (due to Covid-19) in place from sanitizing, to masks at the door. Marina is the best!!! I come once a month for sugaring and she's always so nice. The first time I came, she was super informative. She told me exactly what she's using and after-care tips. She even gets those pesky ingrown hairs. The place is very clean and everything she uses is sterilized. Marina is the best expert in sugaring! The place is clean and making you feel comfortable from the very beginning. Marina does everything quickly and thoroughly, it wasn't painful as it usually is and it was definitely much less hair afterwards which other specialists miss sometimes! The best moment of the procedure is when Marina teaches you some breathing techniques to ease the pain, also like 10 minutes after the procedure I felt like nothing happened, totally pain free! My first time ever doing sugaring was amazing. First and foremost, this place is covid friendly, very sanitary and you will never be waiting with another client. I went to Marina for my very first time for a sugaring Brazilian.I found her going through yelp reviews and they were amazing. When I went I anticipated that it would be very painful since that what I've heard and since I've never done waxing or anything but the reality was that Marina gave me some tips on how to breath so it would be the least painful as possible and it was a good experience. You get a discount if it is your first time which I find it to be inexpensive regardless because us ladies know sugaring can be expensive.
