Our all day event went well, Lashunda did an amazing job decorating and listening to my vision and needs for the big day. Nancy, a member in charge, was rude, disrespectful to our guests and very confrontational...to the point of stepping in the personal space of my son and 8-mos pregnant daughter yelling in thier faces! Of course these are grounds for reaction. However to avoid BS, we cleaned up, removed our decor, gifts, guests and vacated. Although I have submitted a formal complaint, I have yet to receive a simple apology or return of deposit. There were other members of PYC present who witnessed the interaction in it's entirety and found it to be unprofessional and rude. It doesn't matter how nice the venue when the people in charge have NO CLUE how to conduct business with respect and professionalism!! She made up shady rules according to her emotions, none which were stated in the initial agreement. Don't waste your time, money or energy....

Once the weather forecast changed to a chance of rain, we found this place & could not be happier that we did! We contacted the owner Ty, who was extremely easy to communicate with & we were able to come in & check out the space almost immediately & decided it was perfect! We officially booked approximately 4 days before our party when a lot of places need 30+ day notice. It was very reasonably priced & we basically had the location for the entire day. Plenty of time to set up & clean up. We were allowed to come & go all day from 10a-7p as Ty also owns the bakery just next door! She & her staff locked up & unlocked for my family all day so we could drop things off, leave & come back! We had approximately 50 guests, about 40 adults & some children & everyone fit more than comfortably. We were allowed to bring in any food & alcohol that we wanted with only a $75 service fee for the alcohol. A Bluetooth speaker & tables & chairs were also included & were comfortable & all in good condition. There is bathroom inside & heating & AC as well as trash cans & trash bags. The owner, Ty was on scene next door all day til we were all done & ready to leave & locked up for us. We absolutely loved our having our party here & will absolutely be back in the future!

Each party we hosted here was 200+ attendees. The Rec Center was the perfect place with ample parking space, great amenities, and a safe and easy location to drive to. The facility is spacious, clean and the awesome kitchen area provided us with plenty of storage space for refrigerated foods. Our guests loved the modern, clean look with high ceilings and open floor plan. The stage was great for our live band and dj. Most of all, our parties carried through smoothly and efficiently with the help of the courteous staff that was available throughout the entire event! Ryan was incredibly responsive, helpful, and easy to work with throughout the planning process and right up to the day of the event. On the wedding day, Mehran's service staff was professional and attentive and helped everything run so smoothly. They also provided bartending service using the drinks we supplied and took care of cutting and serving our wedding cake, which made things that much easier for us. Everything came together beautifully, and Mehran played a big part in making our wedding celebration such a special and memorable day. Pretty roses and plants surrounding the whole area. At night, they have some string lights lit up around to provide a nice, cozy lighted area. They only have outdoor restrooms, but they are nice. It was a nice special day for the couple, along with their family and friends, to help celebrate this blessed occasion!

We did not like the food! So I went to him on May 4, 2026 to let him know that I need to cancel the event. The food was not up to par and I wanted my deposit back. He refused to refund me any money and said it was too late to cancel it, even though the event was three months in the future. This is not the type of person you want to deal with or the business you deal with, take your event somewhere else. I contacted my credit card company and I'm getting my deposit back, but his actions by refusing to give me my deposit back tells he's a rip off
