In addition to their lovely farm stand, they do small events that the community can come to. They have one in the summer and the fall I believe, like a little ride through the farm for the kids as well as they have a newsletter that they send out I think monthly That tells all about their farm:) I have been a part of their CSA for the last three rounds. You pay a set price and then you can come get $20 of anything at the farm stand. It's been a great way for me to make a habit of incorporating fresh, organic vegetables into my family's diet! Another new addition, as of fall 2025, they have a meat freezer in which you can purchase fresh chicken, beef, and pork items. It's been great having local, mentally processed protein options to give my family as well. Elmer and Ruth Ann, the owners, are wonderful and always very accommodating. So far it's been a fantastic experience. Since this review is technically of the market, I will say that the farm market, which I like to visit on CSA days, is fantastic. Along with other fresh fruits and veggies that may not be included in that week's CSA share, you can buy lots of local goodies. So far I've had some of the best strawberry jam, sweet mustard, and cookies in my LIFE from this farm market. I found the Stratton's price for the season to be VERY affordable compared to other local CSAs ($375), and we get a LOT of fresh veggies each week (and sometimes other things too, like flowers, and I heard that in the future they may also include prepared mustards, jams, etc.) The amount you get is good for 2-3 people, I'd say. The fiance and I are a bit overwhelmed at the moment just because we're not used to having so much, but I think when we get into a groove it will be the perfect amount. Sometimes the produce you leave with smells so good (especially the onions and basil) you want to go home and cook immediately! CSA members also have the option of buying fresh chicken throughout the season, and we just cooked our first one last night. Oh goodness, was it tasty. I don't normally like "chicken that tastes like chicken" (i.e., I usually need to marinate my chicken heavily) but we just roasted this one very simply and it was delicious. The farm is conveniently located fairly close to West Chester and definitely worth a trip.

The farm market itself isn't extremely large but had a decent stock of fresh veggies, baked goods. & yarn -- I expected a bit more. I tried the apple cider -- $1.49 for a pint -- it was nice & refreshing for a breezy October day. The corn maze is pretty neat. They have it set up as the solar system so you have to find the planet posts within the maze. They give you a map which details the posts, emergency exits, fire extinguishers, & emergency phone # if necessary. At each planet post, you have trivia questions to answer. It's a cute afternoon activity to do but most definitely more interesting to do with children or as a family. They also have hidden golf balls & tennis balls throughout the maze that you can redeem for a prize -- unfortunately I wasn't able to find one =( The apple slingshot was the best part! You get a bag of old apples & then you sling them towards the target. They also have some other activities for the kiddies.

Parking is not an issue since they have enough spaces for a few cars. If you're ever in the area I would recommend stopping by. Today I was there for "farm day " which was a chance to view the animals on a beautiful fall day and shop at vendors lined up along the path. These vendors seemed to be picked for their close to nature wares which included natural soap and scrubs, the lady Who Made cork handbags, A man and woman who made beer bottle openers out of half horseshoes, and the lady who made homemade dog treats. I was thrilled to purchase 2 handmade items from Annabelle's Wish stand. Annabelle's Wish helps children and family struggling with rare neurological disorders. Jokes aside, while that hyperbole is of course not true, thematically it is. As another Yelper pointed out, this is not Tyler or Morris by a long shot. This is basically a small down and back loop with a few short side trails that crisscross the main path, Jenkins Road. The below is a good map that shows that every trail they have here is 1/4 mile or less (sometimes much less) and that the main path is paved blacktop. www.jenkinsarboretum.org/visit/map/ During our 75ish minutes here, we didn't see anyone (I didn't expect to considering it was a Friday afternoon in winter still with snow on the ground) and the parking lot was nearly empty.
