DJ and his team hauled off the log the other crew left behind. DJ was super communicative and came out to give us a price estimate. The pricing was competitive and he really seemed to know his stuff, he was able to point out several trees that were diseased and needed to come down. We had gotten estimates from other crews but what sold us on Atlanta Tree Professionals is their track record of great reviews and the insurance protection they carry. Many others claim they have insurance but when you read the fine print, the differences come to light. You can tell Atlanta Tree Professionals care about their customers and their employees. These guys showed up on time on the day of the job. DJ called us to schedule and confirm which was super easy. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. Even my neighbors were impressed. I also appreciated the way these guys treated an old oak we have near the house. It had suffered some storm damage but they had it looking good in no time. I would not hesitate to work with them again.

He gave us a very reasonable price for first rate work. His consultant Brett and the whole crew were great. They showed up on time, did all they work they said they would, and left us woodchips and neatly stacked firewood to use this winter. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. Inquired on them also pricing of them removing ivy roots from the backyard but they said it would be too expensive and keep using the chemicals that I had been for everything to die. The day he came out to look at everything we spoke on the phone and he gave me a quote which I accepted. We had some days of rain coming so the work did not occur until a week after per my request. He came out and although did a good job of the areas he did do, he skipped a large portion of my backyard underneath the trees. I even questioned it when he sent me pictures as it appeared it wasn't done. He said it was. Sure enough it wasn't and I contacted him the following day asking him why. He told me that I said not to do the areas with the pine straw which is true but that area does not have pine straw. I repeated myself many times and added that if that area has pine straw it was from the trees that have fallen not unlike the leaves. He kept saying he was going to lose money and it would const him more money to go the dump. He then went back out to my house after that call and texted me that it would be an additional $150.00 for the "extra work" and he just wanted to make me happy. I texted him back that I am not happy and I am not planning to pay him more. I even sent him pictures of that area to show him that it never had pine straw as he was claiming but he kept saying that he will lose money. We had numerous texts back and forth and I kept telling him I will not pay extra. He then decided to text me accusing me of not wanting to pay him anything which was never said by me AND I just paid him online 45 minutes prior. I immediately called him within a minute of reaching that text and he chose not to pick up. I texted him that he was already paid and I was offended on his statement. Asked him not to contact me again or show to my property. I now paid him in full for him not doing the entire job. Nobody in their right mind would ask someone to only cleanup half their yard as the first winds would just blow everything around. It is not the customer's fault that you miss quoted your work. It is bad business to take it out on the customer.

Due to weather they had to push out the start day but showed up bright and early on the day of the job and was done in no time. While they were there got a quick quote on a few additional trees and they knocked those out too. Got another quote on the removal of about 20+ trees and again received a more than fair quote and had them perform that job a few days later. As you can see the pricing is more than fair and the job performed is still very high quality. They left the job site in excellent condition and did not damage my property at all with their equipment. I rarely wish I could give negative stars, but this "company" is unreal. The owner and one other…read moreman came out two days ago to remove stumps from my yard (debris from hurricane Michael). He gave us an outrageous price, but we agreed since we were told that our yard would look like it did when they arrived and we knew that wouldn't be an easy job given the size of our stumps and our yard. His assistant had to borrow tools and oil for his chainsaw from my husband.. what professional comes that unprepared? They ran over my neighbor's yard with their machine and completely destroyed my yard. It looked as if bombs had gone off in our backyard and every single stump was still there, cut up in my yard. At first, the only thing I requested he fix was my neighbor's property. He told my husband to go buy soil and he'd come back to rake it, then drove away (never to return). I called his office and had a five hour long back and forth resulting with him hanging up on me and refusing to fix or refund anything because he "did a great job." His office sent out some landscapers the next day that somewhat fixed my back yard, but totally destroyed the yard on the side of my house. We have already spent hundreds of dollars fixing what he had destroyed and we have barely even started. We discovered today that not one root system was removed. I called the owner asking for his business license number and he told me he would not help me and hung up on me. I called the city of Atlanta and he does not have a license. Save yourself thousands of dollars, many many headaches, and please do not do business with these unprofessionals.
