It was a very hot day, and all the kids were originally seated facing the sun, before starting his show, he had the parents turn the children around so they wouldn't be staring into the sunlight. That spoke volumes about his experience. Boswick had so many tricks up his sleeve and kept the kids engaged and laughing throughout. The birthday girl (as is perfectly appropriate for her age!) wandered off midway through, but the older kids were totally captivated the entire time. When the balloon-making began, she came right back, a perfect ending to the performance. Even the adults were entertained! Boswick effortlessly switches between engaging 3-year-olds, 7-year-olds, and adults alike with his humor and charm. As a teacher, I really appreciated his ability to manage a crowd and keep everyone entertained. Other nearby parties had a jump house and a traveling petting zoo with a runaway turtle, but Boswick was by far the highlight of the park. Overall, we were impressed. We ended up paying extra to have her stay longer and finish. On top of that she was pestering my wife and other guests for "sugary, non carbonated drinks" all afternoon. She kept complaining to my wife and guests of elbow pain and requesting ice for it in a bowl. Then when the pizza came for the kids she asked for multiple pieces of the kids pizza. After we had cleaned up the whole party she and her "assistant" were still not done packing up their stuff. When they finally finished packing their stuff into a rolling suitcase they flagged down my wife and asked her to ask me to come fold up their folding table and carry their bag to their car. For $500 I would think you would bring your own drinks and food and pack your own crap.

I also hired the same tandem 2 yrs ago during my eldest's birthday that is why i decided to avail for the same package as i was more than satisfied with them.. Chris was also very accomodating when i specifically asked for the same tandem although i forgot their names, Chris remembered even if that was 2 yrs ago.. Anyway, As if on cue, the face painter came in a ladybug costume too, perfect for the ladybug party theme i had set for my girl.. She gave me a call prior the event date to confirm & also on the day of the event.. Ladybug face painter makes excellent work of art, unlike other face painters that just makes simple sketches on your faces & arms/lega.. She was also an angel to the kids. Balloon twister which was her son was also accomodating & made beautiful balloons requested by the kids & even prepared balloon arts while the kids were having their faces painted & gives out a beautiful balloon puppies, swords or wands to the kids when they are done.. Her commutation was great, she was early, set up within minutes and was ready to go. She had a portfolio, by also did custom requests- and the birthday girl went first. She painted adults and the kids and was so fast. I had given her an estimate on how many would want to be painted in the given time frame and she way exceeded that. We were so happy with her and so were our guests, we have recommended her multiple times. And, the paint that she uses is amazing. It doesn't rub off or melt; and you don't have to scrub it off. I've been to other parties where the paint rubbed off on everything. We will definitely be using her again.
