I ever seen my 5 years old laugh so hard. To the point tears came out from her eyes. My best friend hired Boswick to perform at her daughter's 3rd birthday party at Dolores Park, and he was fantastic! First, Boswick is a true professional. It was a very hot day, and all the kids were originally seated facing the sun, before starting his show, he had the parents turn the children around so they wouldn't be staring into the sunlight. That spoke volumes about his experience. Boswick had so many tricks up his sleeve and kept the kids engaged and laughing throughout. The birthday girl (as is perfectly appropriate for her age!) wandered off midway through, but the older kids were totally captivated the entire time. When the balloon-making began, she came right back, a perfect ending to the performance. Even the adults were entertained! Boswick effortlessly switches between engaging 3-year-olds, 7-year-olds, and adults alike with his humor and charm. As a teacher, I really appreciated his ability to manage a crowd and keep everyone entertained. Other nearby parties had a jump house and a traveling petting zoo with a runaway turtle, but Boswick was by far the highlight of the park. Overall, we were impressed. Boswick/Mr. David Magidson is an amazing artist who is capable of entertaining both kids and adults alike with his funny acts, magic tricks and best of all with his stand up comedy/jokes. He can easily manage a crowd of 25 kids and get them to constantly laugh for more than an hour continuously. They were all literally ROFL! :-) He was easy to work with, very punctual and delivered as promised. For the kids- he was super silly, made sure to include the birthday boy as well as the guests in his very funny acts. He could be a tad old school- which we are perfectly fine with, but yeah if you don't like someone making silly jokes about your name to get some laughs.... David (Boswick) really made our son's birthday into a special "event." He is an amazing performer. David came to our son's 7th birthday and singlehandedly entertained about 15 kids in our backyard. My son turned 6 and our home was filled with mainly wild 6 year old boys and a few 8 year old girls.
