The food here is amazing. Absalutely delicious with a lot of good options. They also have lots of tasty drinks. HOWEVER the music is insanely loud. I had to shout at the people I was with and even then we couldn't hear each other. It's a small space but filled with tons of bose speakers. It's genuinely shocking how loud it is. It feel like you're at a concert or something. The service is also pretty bad. But I'll keep going because it's tasty. I just seriously wish they'd turn down the speakers a tiny bit. read more

After reading all the comments here and seeing the Pics of how Dirty and Grimey the kitchen looked here, the customers pics of uncooked seafood and thought of just how dangerous eating here must be. Service is not that great guests walk in and stand for a while before being greeted, seated or even noticed it happens 90% of the time but the food is amazing the volcano molcajete is to die for the salsa is amazing it comes with Carne asada bacon wrapped shrimp and grilled shell on butterflied shrimp which is seasoned perfect The patron molcajete is amazing as well it's served cold and very spicy which I love it came with boiled shrimp boiled octopus and lime marinated raw shrimp and scallops with sliced avocado and saltine Crackers and Tostadas on the side the specialty cocktails are very good and unique as well will come back again and again it's almost an hour drive but well worth it read more

Honestly it's really hard to rate this place sometimes I go and the food is awesome other days not so much . In my opinion if your gonna eat here stick to Marisco options. I have not been impressed by anything other than seafood here. I really enjoy the langostinos plate here w/ the mojo de ago sauce it's epic and the green salsa that comes with it is spicy but pairs very well with the dish probably my favorite thing to eat here. If you want something smaller I'd go w/ the tacos gobiernos. They're basically mini shrimp tacos/ quesadillas w/ shrimp and bell peppers very flavorful and delicious. I also like there ceviche or tostada plate very big and appetizing. One thing they should definitely fix here is there bathrooms . Try to use before you going to the restaurant trust me. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food has been fantastic every time making this my new favorite place. The service is always friendly. It gets crowded but I've never had to wait to be seated. It does get very loud with the live music but it's great. Just don't plan on having an intimate conversation and you'll be fine. Food is obviously the most important aspect in every restaurant and I can easily say theirs is not one to fail. I've enjoyed every bite! If you visit during the weekends expect this place to be loud. LOUD. Friday's and Saturday's are their Norteña nights while Sunday you can enjoy sweet Mariachi music. They've got plenty of televisions throughout the restaurant so a view of the game or fight is available at every angle. Rating them four stars due to the service. It never fails, no greeting when you arrive so you don't know if you should sit yourself or wait to be seated. This is due to lack of staff. For example, for tonight's visit on SuperBowl Sunday why did I only count four waitresses/waiters? This is an issue since it took over 10 minutes for anyone to come get our drink order. Wouldn't mind if it was just this visit, however it's every single time. So don't come TOO hungry, or you may loose your cool while you wait. And wait. And wait. Stopped in the night before Thanksgiving, service was good. Chicken taquitos were flavorful and I really enjoyed the rice and beans. The carne asada was a bit bland for my taste. I found it a bit absurd to be asked to post a Yelp review before I could get the 10% off for Yelp check-in, but such is life I suppose. How did I barely learn of this place? I've missed out! A traditional mother's day dinner Is mariscos, I think I've found the place for the best seafood variety. We ordered a bit of everything and it all was so f'n bomb. Caldos are well made and octopus is cooked to perfection. I ordered camarones culichi. What a great find!!! We were looking for Mexican seafood and are so happy we fell upon this place. Live mariachis (Sundays starting around 3:00), amazing selection of food, full bar and a lot of tables inside. We had shrimp wrapped in bacon ("Costa Azul") and shrimp "Culichi". Both were delicious and came out HOT. Yes!!! Our kids had tacos (so cheap!) and the oysters were very fresh. And my husband ordered a Michelada that was quite large, and the side of beans served with the tortillas chips were delicious. The salsa with the chips was so good-- even my 6-year-old liked it! My family and I were so excited to come here to celebrate Father's Day because this place was recommended by a friend but we will never be going back. First of all, our server was rude. He never brought all of our drinks, all of our food came out at different times, he even brought my nephew the wrong dish then brought it back out on another plate and said it was the correct dish. We quickly said no, it's not. We want his correct order, he scoffed and brought out the right dish. But the worst part was my father, niece, brother and I all ate the oysters (pictured) and got terribly sick with you you guessed it- food poisoning :) we've been sick for 24 hours. My mom was so upset she called and let the manager know and he was a complete a** to her. That's not the WORSE part, the last time I came, the waiter was rude so I DIDNT leave a tip on the receipt. my total was $32. When i checked my bank account they charged me $40. I went to the restaurant and asked for the receipt copy and sure enough the waiter added a tip and signed the receipt. THIS IS FRAUD.. I got my money back and the owner told me she will talk to the waiter, but the waiter still works there. BE AWARE. PLEASE check your receipts. She's the chubby mexican waiter. This mexican restaurant is the best I had outside of my hometown of Indio in the Coachella Valley. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a live mariachi band. Everything my girlfriend and I ordered was very good from the $1 asada tacos to the Coctel de Cameron. We also ordered tostadas de pescado and jaiva which was refreshing. Very nice environment, well run business, especially for the area that it is located in, manager on-site and present. Best part is that the food was great! Yummy chips and salsa AND complimentary bean dip! We had a molcajete filled with chicken, steak, shrimp, chorizo, nopales and cheese for $26.99 and was plenty for two people to share, came with beans and delicious homemade corn tortillas.
