Dr. Durkin was expensive compared to the DRs in Miami, but he was worth every penny. I mean, even the surgery bed was HEATED, LOL. They roll out the red carpet. Everyone in the office is kind. I genuinely felt like I was treated like gold. Dr. Durkin also made scheduling my post-op appointments and getting my prescriptions easy. I am only writing this review because I would not want anyone to go elsewhere for their cosmetic work. I am so grateful for Dr. Durkin because anything could happen on that surgery table. I sent the owner this email and he never responded until I called him…read more Dr. Durkin, I am writing to inform you of the extreme unprofessional manner some of your employees displayed on 9/20/24. I came in for some simple botox and fillers with Stephanie. She came in and suggested I needed a neck and face lift. I have never been to an office where the employees come right in sounding like used car salesmen. I let her know that I may be interested when I turn 60. She then quoted me over $3700 for fillers and botox. I simply said, "I have never paid that much. I'll have to think about it." Her price quickly came down to $1400, which is what I have paid in the past for my entire face and lips. But, I received treatment only on my forehead and crowfeet. I then proceed to be prepped for the fillers. Stephanie's assistant tells me that they won't make me look like Nancy Pelosi. I said I hope not because she's in her 80's. I'm only 55. I then asked if you were a Trumper. She then said, "we don't talk politics," which is exactly how it should be. However, she brought up politics. I should have walked out then, but I didn't, unfortunately. Then Stephanie comes in and does the fastest filler job I have ever received. I found it odd, like maybe she was mad because politics were brought up. But, I said nothing. I then proceed to the check out. Stephanie is coming from the reception area and hurried past me without a smile or a thank you or a nice to meet you. I said something to her regarding menopause and she ignored me in a rush. I go to check out and the receptionist tells me I owe $2200. I then have to say that is not what I was quoted, in a room full of patients. It was embarrassing. She then has to go to the back and straighten things out with Stephanie. I paid the $1470 and went on my way. Btw, the ladies in the reception area were very nice and friendly and apologized for the delay when checking out. Well, the fillers don't look good. My inner brows go downwards. It makes me look mad. I simply came in for a "brow lift' and all of this transpired. One might conclude that I was purposely overcharged and treated haphazardly because of some of the comments made, which were provoked by your employee. As a business owner, I would like to know how my employees treat my customers. So, I thought I'd extend the same courtesy to you since a few of my friends referred you. Dr. Durkin said he didn't reply to my email because I didn't asked for a reply. Common sense would tell anyone that a response would be good business practice. But, he called to argue with me! My experience was all so unprofessional.

What an incredible experience it has been to be able to find a truly caring people in Elevate Vero…read moreBeach from Front Desk PSS to Infusion Nurse to Dr. Bray to Clinical Director. All around high praise from me! I truly appreciate how throughly you are, getting into the nitty gritty of patient's overall health of soul, body and mind. For me, it all started from seeing an ad on Instagram (clearly, it did its job). I was feeling blah after recent trip out of state. From flying alone with four children to running around like a chicken with a head cut off visiting family and friends to jumping back in full force to a busy schedule at work after delayed flight and very little sleep. Anyways, I came in to get Signature I.V. infusion knowing that I'm beyond depleted. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The atmosphere is very relaxing and eye pleasing. Coffee, water and healthy snacks are provided if you wish to have it. I was given a tablet to fill out a new patient paperwork and although it was quite lengthy and daunting it is a necessary evil, as I call it. I've only waited for few short minutes to be called by Infusion Nurse. She's a sweetheart, effortlessly got my IV started and I was taken into the room with two lazy boy chairs, TV and a cozy blanket. It took about an hour for infusion. I was about to go to checkout when I was told it is on the house. Mind you, I was in scrubs. Score! Initially the special that I have seen online was 50% off so that was a manageable expense but complimentary, you just can't make that up. Come to find out medical staff and/or military receives 1 complimentary IV per month. Needless to say, I made an appointment to be seen by their very competent staff about recent bloodwork that I had done. Just finished my second visit and I left even more impressed than my first. I want to thank Elevate for the work that they do because our medical system has been cracked. Unfortunately, a lot of times ailments are band aided and not looked into the root of cause. Well, Elevate is the place where they want to help and to make you feel better without pushing drugs down your throat. Oh, almost forgot, probably one of important remarks too. They are very affordable! At the end of the day you simply cannot put a price on your health! So wait no longer and go get yourself checked by Elevate Vero Beach.

Prior to visiting Elevate, I had an in depth conversation with Hannah via text. I wanted to confirm that they had Botox and that everyone was fully licensed and that they were accredited. She confirmed all the above. While meeting with the nurse the day of my appointment she explained to me that they had different types of botox. I was confused because there aren't different types of Botox, it's a brand. I know about different neuromodulators but I had specifically asked for Botox due to a reaction with other neuromodulators. In hindsight, I probably over reacted when I got up and left. I felt very frustrated that I had spent an hour driving there only for them to try to do the bait and switch. I also felt the nurse was very condescending when she felt like she had to explain to me what Dysport and Daxify was after I pointed out that they weren't Botox.

Rosanna, the patient coordinator and I became instant friends. I felt a strong connection with her as if we had known each other all our lives! Love her!! The office is so well appointed, clean and spacious. That clinic is so large I got turned around a couple of times They pampered me before and especially after my surgery. Massages, personal makeup demonstration and gifts of the products she used on me! I have all the confidence in Dr Durkin. He's warm, friendly, tall and handsome doesn't hurt either! He always has a smile on his face, greeted me with a "hey beautiful" while we passed in the hall...first time I ever remember a man saying that to me! He is a very warm and heartfelt and nurturing way about him. I'm glad the surgery was done in-house instead of a hospital! That clinic was so spotless, no worries about getting any kind of bugs you can get at large hospitals. I'll go back in a heartbeat and will recommend to anyone looking for a professional and caring doctor and staff! Thank you Ocean Drive Med!

I went to.Dr..Durkin 6 years ago to liposuction for my stomach. I was very satisfied with him,…read moreeverything went great. I went back to him for some face fillers because I knew I couldn't afford a face lift. It came to $2,800.00 for 4 injections. They offered a plan to pay with no interest for 2 I years so I signed up. That same day he gave me the fillers 2 in my checks and said they would last about 2 years the 2 around my mouth and said they would last about a year. I was alright with that. About a week later I felt 2 balls by my jawline by my mouth. I called and and they told me to come in. The doctor looked at it and said "sometimes that fillers desolves quickly in some people" I wasnt told that I was told a year not a week. The doctor said he would.give me a credit of $1,400.00 for the fillers around my mouth. He than said I needed a facelift and he would take the credit off the facelift. They wrote up a.price of $20,000.00 and took the credit off which came to.$18,600.00. I told him I would think about it. I went back to talk to the doctor again and they put me in the room that I got my fillers. His associate came in with her I pad and showed me my before and after pictures and said " look you have no wrinkles in your forehead!' I said i didnt get anything done to my forehead she walked out and said she would be back. She never came back. Dimara came in and said the doctor would only give me a credit off a facelift. I couldn't afford a facelift. He wouldn't give it to me any other way. I walked out without seeing the doctor and with 2 balls by my jawline. Never tried to make it right any other way! Trying another filler that isnt known to dissolve? Myself owning my own business years ago I would try to make it right with my customers if they were satisfied. They always came back to me again because I made it right. Update : I posted this on Dr. Durkins website so others would know about fillers that i wasnt aware of. And that my only credit would be off a facelift. I received a call from Dr. Durkin asking if this is Kathy i said yes.. We'll that was it he went off on me saying that what I posted was all lies. (wait why would I lie?) He said he read my reviews and was yelling at me now. I kept trying to talk and he wouldn't let me say a word with him swearing at me now. I had him on speaker and when my friends heard him swearing they stopped to listen. I asked him if I could talk and he said "NO YOU CANT" A friend of mine spoke up and said " Why dont you let her talk" he didnt want to hear anything I had to say. That is the first time a doctor of mine called and and disrespected me on how he would not listen to what i had to say. We could of talked it over nicely but he didn't want to. I was just looking for the credit he said he would give me. That's all! I just couldnt afford an $18,600.00 facelift. Dont know why it couldn't of came off my credit card or another kind of filler. This review is not lies ( like the doctor said) it is the truth. God Bless Dr. Durkin.
