I was 23, now I'm 45…read moreand still wouldn't change him for any other Dr. The first time I saw him, was when he was with Dr. Benavidez, I wanted to see Dr. Benavidez for a regular pap and for whatever reason Dr. Montalvo came into the room instead. I thought he was extremely nice and I thought he was just being nice because he was starting his practice and wanted to get some patients of his own. As of this day, Dr. Montalvo continues to be a sweetheart with all his patients. I've referred a lot of my friends and they end up staying with him and love his bedside manners. They as well recommended their family and friends to him. It doesn't matter what the reason for your visit is, he always explains to you everything he feels you need to know about whatever condition or symptoms you are having. Sometimes I feel like he explains too much, but I rather have extra explanations than none at all. Some of his office staff have been with him for at least 20 years, which tells you that he is an excellent boss as well. He's very knowledgeable about his practice and very gentle. I will keep referring my friends and family to him because I honestly don't think they'll find anyone better than him.

I came three times and every time they treated me with kindness and patience and each time they called me to confirm the appt one day before and when I asked for prices and costs, they were very straight forward with me. Being the first time having a root canal done I was very nervous but Dr. Muskis made the whole experience very pleasant, also Dr. Medina did a tremendous job with my crowns and Dr. Montalvo made my cavities procedure very enjoyable, each time I was so tired with having few hours of sleep and being a first time mom so... I would fall asleep but they would make sure I was awake and would just talk to me for me to be present in the procedure and all of them were very understandable about my situation and for that I am very grateful. My only suggestion is to make sure reception explains how the procedures will go, I was under the impression I could have everything done in one visit (which I know it was not that way because my relatives would tell me about the personal root canal story lol) anyway.
