I had gotten a leg infection due to a bad scratch from tools used in gardening! I got treated for the problem but after second visit this infection came with a fury! Plus my BP med was not working properly! I can't blame anybody infections are poison that can start real easy and do damage! Blame i don't put on anybody antibiotics didn't work for some reason or another! At least she some me everyday at the hospital! I had other doctors explain things to me! I'm resting n getting ready to go exercise with a lot of gusto! No blame here on anybody God n my faith saved me Amen! read more

Dr. Marissa R Gonzalez has been my doctor for over 7 years. She has been the only doctor out of 5 prior doctors that has stabilized my diabetes. She has been through 2 knee breaks, 2 heart stints, and femur break with me. She was not the primary for those but she made her presence known with visits as my primary family doctor. I do not know the other two recommendors but one is from Austin and the other was from out of state and as far as I know Dr. Gonzalez practices in Laredo, Texas so I would not take those recommendations very highly. I would and have recommended her practice highly to friends and family. Dr. Gonzalez is the best and I have even changed my insurance when her contract with them was up. I have always been welcomed warmly in her office and the maximum wait I have experienced has been 1 hour, but in their defense, it was not an appointment. read more

Terrible doctor and terrible bed side manners. The wait time is like 6 hours, so absurd! I showed up without a mask one day and as I was going to be taken my weight and blood pressure by the nurse, the doctor, Gonzalez was leaning against the wall casually chatting it up with the nurse that took me in. The doctor was not wearing a mask either. As the doctor sees me approaching she rolls her eyes at me and covers her mouth with her blouse as if I was the plague. Then she proceeded to leave and as she had her back turned towards me, she with a very condescendingly demeanor says "wear your mask please!" She could have greeted me and been more professional. Looked me in the eyes and said it. The doctor was such a hypocrite since she didn't even have a mask on herself! Also this doctor, Marissa Gonzalez rushes patients. She's done 2 of my Pap smears and it's like a race against time. She's literally in a hurry! Also she didn't even bother to exam my breasts for lumps and that's standard! Her Pap smears are not the standard. There is lot more that goes into it and she doesn't do it. She really should space out her patients so she's not in a hurry and rushing the patients all the damn time! Then I was diagnosed with high cholesterol and I told her I wanted a more holistic approach so I refused the meds she was prescribing me. She inconsiderately responded. "Ok then. I'll see you next year" She quickly left the room. This doctor, Marissa Gonzalez didn't even bother to tell me what foods to avoid or recommend to reduce my cholesterol levels. This doctor Marissa Gonzalez is rude, unprofessional, arrogant and has terrible bedside manners! What terrible experiences I've had with her. She also doesn't dress professional!! The staff is not organized either. Their check in window is literally the same checkout window. No privacy for the patients. I literally have to wait in line AGAIN in order to pay and discuss medications and future appointments and diagnoses! ‍ Please DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR. DO NOT EVER GO WITH THIS DOCTOR!! She doesn't care and she rushes you! I will be leaving this review on medical websites as well. read more

Awful experience. Had a 2:00pm appointment and when we got there the waiting room was full so we asked the staff if they were running behind and how long it might take. They literally just shrugged their shoulders. We waited an hour during which NOT ONE of the people in the full waiting room was seen. When we asked again what was going on they blamed the delay on a computer problem. They could have told us this the first time we asked if that were true! Actually, several people were sitting in the office eating chik-fil-a. Totally unprofessional. Avoid them, there are other, much better doctors in town. read more
