I had only noticed once I got to my destination and when I called him, he claimed he had brought all the bags in. Not true because airport THANK GOD had found it on the curb. Was not able to reach anyone or have anyone from the company retrieve it since I had to go in person after a long day of travel. The driver did not know how to adjust the car seat and there was no water available either.. would have been nice after a flight. Needless to say, will not use or refer this service to anyone.

It's Canada's longest bridge at 8 miles long and the world's longest over ice covered water! They have a nice park and stop on the Charlottetown side where you can walk around a bit and also see fisherman boats and read historic plaques. If you're lucky, you'll see a few ospreys.

You only pay fees when leaving PEI. $20 Canadian dollars at the automated toll. Today was a beautiful drive, sunny, calm. However on our way into PEI it was pretty windy, white caps on the water & two hands on the steering wheel! There are 2 options to enter PEI.. bridge or ferry. This is by far the most efficient route to & from Halifax.

Instead of driving across the Confederation Bridge from PEI to Nova Scotia and across the province…read moreto Cape Breton the staff at our hotel suggested that we take the ferry to save on gas, time, and energy. We were assured that it wasn't going to be a busy day and that we didn't need to make reservations prior to arriving at the ferry. We got there pretty early, paid at the booth (I believe we were charged $84 as one vehicle instead of how many passengers we had), and then proceeded to park the car in the lane we were told and wait until boarding. In addition to personal vehicles tractor trailers and others loaded with lumber used the ferry as well. We saw a small ferry terminal on the side (equipped with a small cafe, washrooms, and wifi) but weren't sure when we'd be boarding and didn't want to risk it. Turns out (from reading the other review) that an announcement is made inside the terminal prior to boarding. It was a tight fit for our rental Camry down the ramp to where we parked on the ferry. I can't imagine what it must've been like for larger vehicles like pickup trucks. I believe there was an elevator to take you up to the deck where seating was but there was also a set of stairs. Only one level was open for seating when we were on the ferry. The upper deck where it said Cows was located wasn't open. We knew the food and beverages offered on the ferry would be expensive but it's still always a shock to see the prices. Since it was a nice day out sitting outside was quite pleasant but too far for the wifi signal.

It has 9 departures from the Wood Islands Terminal. Our hotel was quick to make our reservations for the time we wanted. This was important as they board reservations first. If you happen to arrive early, there is a terminal with concessions, restrooms and wifi. They are equipped with plenty of seating to accommodate the awaiting passengers. They will make an announcement in the terminal for guests to return to their vehicles for boarding. Their process was quick and efficient. Once the cars around you are parked you are able to get out of the car to make your way up deck levels. Aboard the ferry they have many amenities to offer. Concessions, restrooms and a concierge to help with hotel or dining options in Nova Scotia. You can also stand out on deck and watch the waves pass by. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It was a nice option to have on our return back to the States.
