I went in to have my septum pierced with a female piercer. She wasn't warm or friendly towards me to begin with. Once she pierced my septum she slipped up and bumped my jewelry out of place, she then didn't tell me what happened and had this look of panic on her face while yanking my jewelry around trying to get it back in place. Eventually I have to ask her to stop because I was becoming light headed from the pulling on my wound plus the blood gushing down. She never apologized, never expressed concern, and barely would look at me after even when I was extremely nice about the whole situation. Not sure how the piercer has good reviews, I've been to him twice both times he was a jerk. I have 9 piercings then I go to him and both of the ones he did healed horribly, got infected and were extremely painful. My tragus and helix piercings that he didn't do healed up beautifully so it definitely wasn't how I took care of them because I have plenty of piercings and I'm fully aware of the aftercare. The first time I came, it was with a cousin visiting from out of state, he was a jerk but I just got it done and left. The forward helix he did for me, was horrible. The earring he placed in there had minimal space to allow for any healing to take place, I had to go to Tracy's the second I was able to change out the jewelry to get a ring that allowed for swelling and healing to take place, once I did that it was smooth sailing. The second time I went to him, it was four of us girls. We decided we would go and because of convenience we decided to come here. He must've had little man syndrome because the entire time he talked down to us, was condescending, making us feel like we didn't know what we were talking about, just an overall again, jerk. I won't be back because of this last experience. He claimed the earring placed was on tight,...WRONG the NEXT MORNING IT FALLS OUT! The diamond that was screwed on was completely stripped. I had to again figure it out until it was time to change the earring out. And still I have issues because having to mess with it the beginning few weeks. If he wasn't so into trying to be a "macho man" and impress any of the women who were there maybe he would've noticed he messed up. The hole is even crooked. My sister got both of her tragus done, one healed up the other got badly infected as well that she had to remove it just a few short weeks after getting it done. Front desk lady was clueless. I went in to get my nose pierced and she had zero answers to my questions and kept telling me to hold on while she went to ask the piercer. The piercer was rude and didn't give me anything I wanted. The second I walked out of there I drove 3 minutes to Body Piercing by Tracy and they helped me out so much! Highly recommend going to them over Maritime. Worst part is- they make you pay before you get pierced???? I tipped and everything and walked out unsatisfied. I came for a nose piercing. The piercer was a good piercer. Very quick and fast straight to the point. They told me to come back after 3-4 weeks to shorten my piercing and shape it as they do it for swelling reasons. I came back & the same piercer was there seemed like he was absolutely irritated with me being back. The process HURT more than getting it pierced. He took out my nose ring and " shortened it " though it still dangled out of my nose. I figured he'd shape it like a cork screw or an L shape. I'm not sure what he even did. Long story short my nose ring was stuck in my nose I could not get it out in any way. I had to go to another person to get it out and replace the ring. Here's a picture of Maritime's piercing and my new piercing. I was told theyve never seen the shape of Maritime's in their life. Which is why I could not get it out of my nose. Now I'm left to wonder if he just wanted me out of the shop and had no care what happened to my nose after I left. Which sucks. read more

Me and my brother went on a whim for him to get a small 3 word tattoo on his thigh for a little tattoo in memory of our dad. They told us they couldn't get an immediate quote even though we showed an exact model of what we wanted which is okay that's normal I guess. What sucked was they made us wait nearly 4 hours just for them to print the tattoo on a sheet of paper and tell us it's going to be nearly $200 for quite literally 12 small letters. Like you couldn't have told us that 4 hours ago? Also when the time finally came for the price and doing the actual tattoo the artist seemed incredibly irritated some reason. Almost like he had to waste his time on a smaller tattoo nearly making me think he gave a high price on purpose. He said about 6 words to us and turned around and walked off. They turned around and asked "what our budget was" like they knew they were charging to much and that's when we decided to just leave after waiting for forever. Only reason it's a 2 star is because I'm sure the artists are fine at what they do. The artists choose the prices at a whim and it just so happened it's an arm and a leg. If you're going to go then expect to spend higher on the spectrum when it comes to pricing and expect it to be a very long wait and expect the process to seem harsh and rushed. read more

Waited 2-3hrs in line and when I finally got to talk to my artist (I think Ron), I told him I wanted him to take some creative liberties. He was extremely offended by this and told me "you don't know me or my work and I don't know you like that." Okay fair enough you don't want me to make a mistake w an artist I don't know, whatever. Then proceeded to point at another customer telling me "Once you get like that we can talk about taking liberties." I get it if you just wanna get through a quick saturday tat but don't treat me like a child or act like I just insulted you by asking you to make it your own work. Made it very obvious that he didn't care ab the piece and just wanted to get numbers for the day as well as treated me like a complete idiot in front of other customers. I've had a couple tats done here that were fine, nothing crazy. But I can't justify supporting a business if they're going to tolerate artists blatantly disrespecting clients. This place is trash as fuck and they'll try to rip you off and take as much money from you as they can I just recently lost a family member and wanted a tattoo of a little heart with there name in it about the size of a half dollar and I went in to ask for a reference and probably would have got it that day but the Chrome dome fool working the front looked up in the air to think about how much money he could get out of me then said for just an outline of the heart with the name would be around $180-$200 when in reality it should be about $50 with a tip he must have thought I was an idiot or something because I only have one tattoo but he was heartless and wanted all the money he could get, fuck him and this place would never recommend this place to anyone and now actually going to go out of my way to tell people not to go here and to go anywhere else.
