The programming is varied. Monday: Upper Body, Tuesday; Total Body, Wednesday; lower body, Thursday; Total body, Friday; Cardio and abs, Saturday; Total body and Sunday; Lower body. The exercises are varied, so if you hated one workout, the next one will be different. The instructors demonstrate the exercises after the warmup. The exercises are rotated so the other regulars know the exercises and you can follow along. If you are new the instructors will take the time to work you through it one on one. If you are new to exercising at this intensity you can dial it off by using lower weights, taking longer breaks, or in my case I tapped out after two rounds versus three. There is no pressure except yourself to perform. The gym is open air. I have only worked out here in the winter, but find my self gravitating to the doors for fresh air. There is ample supply of equipment for all strength levels. I have noticed some couples coming in and one partner doing their own workout on the weights. I have had a stroke and have balance and cognitive deficits. I know the modifications to the exercises that I need and there is equipment available for adaption. The instructors are patient with me in asking questions of something I'm sure they already said. They have a ten percent discount for military, veterans, and law enforcement. I live nearby and walk in the field next to Empire. They have underutilized lighted soccer fields that are perfect for a team practice at night. The teams are out there at night with music blasting and balls blazing. They have recently started a boxing program on Tuesdays and Thursdays that seems intriguing. They have different heavy bags available. I avoided this gym the last year due to Covid. Both me and my wife were fully vaccinated in March, so I was willing to give it a go. NO ONE wears a mask! They do a good job of sanitizing before, during, and after workouts, with all people participating in keeping it clean. They have the workout spaces divided into six foot blocks and have modified the workouts to maintain social distancing. The bottom line is that I would not recommend an unvaccinated person or one who has not had COVID work out here, especially when Jonathan breaks out one of his SHIIT workouts that will get everyone breathing super hard. The music is a negative for me. It is super loud (as in a club) and is either Regaton or Urban music. A diversity of Dance, House, Disco, Electronica, Salsa, Merengue, and Rock would be appreciated to match the diversity of clients. Maybe rotate a different style each day and ensure that styles vary between weeks. I will do a review again post-covid and if DJ issue is resolved, they should be at five stars.

This is my go to gym whenever I am back in Miami. This location is pretty nice and honestly one of…read moremy favorites I've been to! This crunch is fairly organized and has a couple of cool machines that we don't have back home in my local crunch. There's a decent amount of squat racks, that looks so sparkly and new (at least to me). All the cardio machines are in the middle. I was actually super intrigued to see they have rowers and peleton bike dupes. Women bathroom is clean with tons of locker space! Overall, I never fail to come out to this location even if it's a bit of a drive.

I am extremely disappointed with Crunch Gym's customer service and cancellation process…read more I called to ask if it was possible to cancel our membership because I was sick with the flu and pregnant, and I didn't want to risk spreading illness. At first, the representative said he could help, but the moment I mentioned the membership was for both my husband and me, his tone completely changed and he said he could not help. He claimed it was "illegal" to cancel over the phone, yet said I could send a friend or family member on my behalf -- which made no sense. The only people we have nearby are my parents, who were also sick and are the reason we caught the flu. Everyone else is out of state. I asked if a note could at least be made on the account to avoid being forced into the 30-day cancellation period and additional fees due to the circumstances. He became rude, said there was nothing he could do, and then hung up on me. When I called back to ask for his name, I was told he was "uncomfortable" giving it to me. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was busy and that there was only one manager working at the time. I was given the name Kyle Campbell as the manager. Because of how poorly this was handled, I drove to the gym immediately, sick with the flu and all. When I arrived and asked to speak to a manager, Alejandro Delgado sarcastically walked over from the corner where he and other staff members were sitting around talking, confirming he was the manager. This was about five minutes after the phone call in which I was told the manager was too busy to help. Alejandro Delgado then confirmed that there were actually multiple managers working, directly contradicting what I had been told on the phone. Despite claiming to be too busy earlier, he stated that he had heard my entire phone conversation and insisted that I was not disrespected or treated poorly -- even though I had been hung up on and offered zero assistance. This was especially frustrating given that he and his colleagues were clearly chatting and not working when I arrived. I explained how upset I was with how I was spoken to and how the situation was handled. I was then threatened with not canceling my membership at all, which escalated the situation further. When I later received the email confirmation, the reason listed for cancellation (for both my husband and me) was stated as "signed up for other gyms," which is completely false. That was never said and completely dishonest, which seems to be a common theme for this gym. Additionally, when I asked Alejandro to confirm the name of the person I initially spoke with, he said it was Matthew -- which contradicts everything I had been told earlier and raises serious concerns about the accuracy and honesty of the information provided. At this point, I'm not even confident that "Kyle Campbell" is a real employee at this location. There are also numerous hidden fees involved in canceling that are not clearly disclosed when signing up. Ultimately, the service was the final straw. The gym itself is mediocre at best: it's always overcrowded, many machines are frequently broken despite paying a $69 annual "maintenance fee" (for what, I have no idea), there's only one sauna that barely gets hot and requires long wait times, and parking is consistently awful. Between the poor facilities, misleading information, and shockingly bad customer service, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
