Our old dentist retired and my oldest daughter told us about Mark. She had heard of him from a co-worker. Going to see Mark was the best decision we all made. I have been going to see Mark Mehrali for over 17 years now. My girls and my son have all seen him and the girls and their husbands still see him. He is very caring and friendly and is a good dentist. His office staff is amazingly friendly and kind as are all the hygenists. I have moved several times and currently live in Sacramento, California. Talk about driving - I still make the trip home to Ventura County to see Mark. We were referred to this dental office for our older son by our pediatric dentist. Upon arrival I requested a tour which was denied. As a military family constantly having to relocate first impression is a must. From what I could see the waiting room was small and worn down. I'm not sure if there was an elevator as it's only 2 stories. Which would definitely be an inconvenience for a family with young ones. Unfortunately I would never commit our family to a dental office that doesn't allow you to see the space in which future appointments would be performed. 3 stars for location, ample parking, and the referral. read more

I had absolutely great experience with dr. Mark Mehrali, whom I met while practicing hot yoga, and I scheduled a dental exam in his office. As a European, being used to dentists having more of a conservative approach, I tended to avoid dentists in the US as they were trying to oversell me solutions I did not need at the cost of my health. Dr. Mark also has a great network of other dental specialists. Through him I met my orthodontist who is also an expert in his field. What I was quoted by other dentists ( about $20K orthodontic treatment) I was able to get under $6K thanks to dr. Mark's recommendation. Dr. Mark is by far the most honest dentist I met being in this country for over 15 years, who not only will try to preserve your own teeth and advise the treatments which are best for your mouth and easy on your pocket. He is also a professor at USC and that gives me a lot of confidence in his skills. No wonder his office is always busy as happy patients telling others about their experience is the best marketing for any dental clinic. I have been going to Mark Mehrahi since I was a little kid. My parents took me and my siblings there. I tried out a few other places after college, but ultimately realized that Mark Mehrali and his staff cleaned my teeth well and didn't try to sell me additional procedures I didn't need. I started going to Dr. Mehrali years ago to redo some bad dental work done by another dentist in the county (leaking crown that caused a tooth to go bad requiring root canal). Over the years he has done excellent work putting in numerous crowns and fillings. I had my face partially paralyzed for about 6 months by another dentist who gave me a shot deep into my jaw to numb me for a filling. Dr. Mehrali has never made such a mistake and he just numbs the tooth he is working on. I think he is, or was a professor of dentistry at UCLA part time. I can't recommend him enough. I decided to write this review because he did an emergency crown repair on New Years eve for me. read more

I love my dentist. I never thought I could say that! Its not easy to give 5 stars to someone who puts needles and drills in your mouth! BEST DENTIST EVER!!!! Upon entering Dr Mehrali's office you are greeted immediately by a friendly, warm and knowledgeable staff. Dr Mehrali must be doing something right because in all the years I've been a patient there has been minimal staff turnover. I will never go to another dentist! The ladies in the front office as well as the hygienists are some of the most kind people the medical industry has to offer! Going to the dentist is definitely not one of my favorite things to do but this place makes me not totally dread it. They never make you feel bad for "missing a flossing" and don't criticize you if your teeth aren't perfect. Also, I was looking into children's dentists to take my young son and decided to just take him to our family dentist even though all the fancy children's ones looked so great (I really didn't want to fill out more paperwork, ha) and I'm glad I did! They were so kind and patient with my son who was terrified out of his mind and not cooperating. He eventually warmed up to them and they were very gentle but thorough. The women in the front even helped me with my infant while I consoled my older son while he got his teeth cleaned. Dr. Mehrali is also very friendly and personable as well as professional. The office is always very clean and they always do a wonderful job! read more

Worst experience ever!! After making numerous appointments with him only to get thrown off to his associate every time. Then i was mortified when his associate drilled almost my entire tooth away only to find out later from another dentist that the tooth was perfectly fine and did not need to be drilled and it was shoddy work. And his shoddy work caused damage to my gum. read more

Dr. Mehrali and ALL staff have been GREAT. Very friendly and accommodating regardless of an emergency or routine visit. I trust my whole family is in good hands. Dr. Mehrali has replaced a couple of crowns I had done 20 years ago by another dentist and I must say he is a magician with the needle, no pain. I was even able to get a Chevrolet bow tie on one of the crowns. All there seem to be genuine when it comes to safety and cleanliness' which is extremely important to me.
