Janna Gorinstein is an amazing dentist! She's a beautiful person, great vibes and makes you feel safe and comfortable. I've been visiting this office for probably 12 years--and the new dentist is great, don't get me wrong. Today I had an appointment at 1 pm. I got there on time and the door was locked so I called the office two times and no answer. Since I left work to make my appointment, I decided not to waste any time and head back to work. The receptionist called me at 1:06 because they were wondering where I was. I let her know what happened and she responded letting me know they were late coming back from lunch. I told her ok, but I left from work to make my appointment and I was on my way back to work. She asked if I wanted to reschedule. No apology at all for wasting my time. With an abundance of dental practices in town with great ratings, I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you want to support a practice that respects your time, I recommend you go elsewhere as well. Dr. Gorinstein is an excellent dentist who cares about her patients. She remembers your name, and asks about other family members by name when you visit. Everyone in the office is so friendly and helpful. The staff make you feel comfortable and relaxed, and the office is tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. They have a little fridge with drinks, and a Keurig coffee bar. I once had a dental emergency and they were able to get me right in the next day. I have NEVER had to wait for staff, as they are always prompt and there to greet me, get any necessary paperwork started, and take me back to my room within a few minutes of arriving. I have had quite a few procedures done with Dr. Gorinstein, and find that she is efficient and excellent in her work. I am always very happy with the results. My experience with other dentists in the past have always been met with some reluctance and fear....this was NOT the case with Dr Gorinstein. The comfortabilty, relaxation, and warmth that I felt upon meeting her was immediate. Let me start by saying this office and team are nothing short of a blessing and the supreme standard for what all dentist offices should strive to be! My husband was suffering from a broken cap that exposed the roots of his tooth for months. Our previous dentist wanted $6K worth of work to fix it. I don't know about you but being a family of 5 we don't have that kind of money. We spent the day calling local dentists as his pain was unbearable finally and by the grace of God got in touch with Pure Dental. Unfortunately they didn't take our insurance but that didn't stop them from asking us to please allow them to help my husband. From the moment we walked in it was like we were visiting family. Rosie and Kim are just amazing woman with beautiful caring warts. Dr. Bret was phenomenal telling my husband he won't let him leave in pain. Not only did they save my husbands tooth it was worked into our budget without even asking. They took it upon themselves from start to finish making sure they made everything work in our favor. Kim even ran out to our van before leaving just to touch base on the medications he was prescribed when leaving. After our family dentist retired, I had difficulty finding a new dentist I would really like. Then I received a call from Colleen, Office Manager, at Pure Dental. She recommended that I see Dr. Brett Egelske. I never heard of him so I was hesitant in seeing the doctor. Colleen Indicated that Dr. Egelske had done a procedure on her, and she was very impressed, that he has good bedside manners. I asked her to give me the spelling of his last name, and I googled him to get info. I read his reviews which were favorable. The next day I contacted Colleen and I told her I'll give him a try. A couple of fears I have in seeing a dentist are the shots and the drilling. I am always afraid that the numbing is insufficient and I'll feel the hurt. When I met Dr. Egelske I expressed to him my concerns. He reassured me and when he gave me the shots, I didn't feel a thing. I didn't feel any pain. I must say I'm so glad I followed Colleen's advice because I find Dr. Egelske to be so caring, meticulous and just wants to do the right thing for his patient. Indeed he has excellent bedside manners, and he is a very capable dentist. He performed fillings, crown and bridge work for me. I started going to Pure Dental of Camarillo & Orthodontics in November of 2015 to complete implants started by another dentist. Dr. White treated me initially but because one of the implants appeared to have failed, he asked the owner, Dr. E (Dr. Ebrahimian) for his opinion. Dr. E (as a surgeon) decided that he would continue the work. Dr. E not only finished the work of the other dentist but he also recommended additional implants to restore my bite and to help me eat better and also to save my remaining teeth. Everything went exceptionally well and I couldn't be happier with the work done to restore my teeth (I have similar previous comments about Dr. E & Dr. White on Yelp). Last week I had a problem with a much older implant, which appeared to be loose (done by another dentist). When I called the office I was told to come right in. Dr. White reviewed my situation and felt he could save the implant and although he tried, he didn't have the tools needed for this older technology implant. He asked me to return today (Tuesday), when Dr. E was in the office and he might be able to get the tools needed. Dr. White came in on his day off specifically to work on my tooth problem. Dr. E asked to have a look and before I knew it both Doctors were collaborating and working as a team to find a solution. At one time, I looked up I saw both Doctors and dental assistants Joseph and Shelby Magana standing over me working on my tooth. They were successful and as a result I will not need a replacement implant (and crown). I couldn't be more impressed with the teamwork and collaboration from 2 outstanding Dentists with different and diverse backgrounds and experience that came together to save my implant and save me the expensive of replacing it.
