It ended up being an hour long aggressive sales tactic to sell me on every service they offer. After that, my rates started climbing from $50-$80/mo. In just a few months. He claimed it was due to inflation, but I ended up switching to a different agent and I have better coverage for less. I let all that go but recently I got a call from my mortgage company. They called Ted's office (my info hadn't updated to the new agent for homeowners) and were told that I dropped my homeowners insurance. I have the same policy number, just a different agent. I know for certain they can see that I am still with them. It was very unprofessional. So glad Ted isn't my agent any more. My advice is find another agent if you go with State Farm.

He's a rare agent in that he writes the policy for what you need rather than trying to upsell, which is very much appreciated. Another plus is that he is always willing to review and make adjustments, so you never feel "stuck" with a policy and know adjustments can be made as life changes. Alex is the office manager and she is great. She handles whatever she can when you call and if it's something that David has to specifically address, she gets the complete message to him, so that phone calls are productive.
