I'm not a traditional FTM patient but I was still able to get the surgery and they handled everything with the insurance wonderfully. I finally had my surgery on 7/18 and couldn't be happier. Their instructions and everything around recovery has been so much smoother than I could have anticipated. They offer so much support before and after. I'm so happy with my results, going from a DDD or maybe even E to fully flat and more masculinized chest has changed my life. I am so happy. I'm so grateful to Zol and his team. The clinic then recommended a second fat grafting treatment for additional money. After the two procedures, my under eyes actually looked worse than before--loose, crepey skin, uneven, and not smooth at all. Dr. Tseng correctly diagnosed me with Gerd. And even better he prescribed an over-the-counter medication, Mucinex, to help control it. The last time I saw him I told him my Gerd had gotten worse. He immediately asked me if I had gained weight. I told him I had gained 8 pounds. Apparently, weight gain causes Gerd to worsen. To save me money, he prescribed another over-the-counter med, Priolosec. Not only does Dr. Tseng correctly diagnose problems he prescribes money-saving meds to treat them. I have lived with large breasts for so long that I honestly forgot what life was like before them…read more I had been wanting a breast reduction for a long time, but finding a surgeon you feel comfortable with and can actually trust is overwhelming and time-consuming. I feel so lucky that I found Dr. Jen Stark at the beginning of my search. I have never met a surgeon who is as compassionate, caring, and empathetic as Dr. Stark. She is incredibly detail-oriented, and you can tell how much care, perfectionism, and artistry she puts into her work. As a patient, that was especially comforting to me because I knew I was going to be asleep while she was doing something that was so important to me. Knowing that I could completely trust her while I was out, and that she understood exactly what I wanted and would do everything she could to make it happen, was honestly the best feeling. The recovery was also so much easier than I expected. I am not particularly good with elective surgeries or recovery, so I was prepared for the worst. It ended up being much less painful than I expected, and I healed much faster than I thought I would. Throughout the recovery, Dr. Stark was always available whenever I had questions or started to feel anxious. She was so reassuring and made me feel like I was never bothering her. The rest of the staff was amazing too. Leslie was always there to answer all of my questions (and there were a LOT of them!). She was so patient and comforting throughout the entire process. The lab has a separate check-in stand and staff than the rest of the practice. It was confusing for a first time visitor to understand their system. There was a wait to be acknowledged after signing in. Patients are offered seating in a hallway versus a waiting room. Eventually, a phlebotomist called my name and took me into a private room for the blood draw. He was the best part of the visit. Very personable, professional, and able to get the blood flowing (so to speak) with the smallest amount of initial discomfort possible. Definitely a seasoned pro! Mission accomplished, and they sent the results to my MD within a week's time, which was the lead time I was told would happen.
