I took my sofa cushion to Mark Eric Upholstery to fix on October 19, 2024. The owner, Marc Eric, received the cushion, quoted me $300 for the job, and agreed to have it ready by November 5, 2024; that day, I paid a deposit of $150. That deadline was not met, and a new deadline was set for
November 20, 2024. The new deadline was also not met; the owner kept ignoring my calls until he answered and mentioned that he had mistakenly used the fabric intended for my cushion on another project and had to repurchase it. A third deadline was set for November 27, 2024, which was also missed. The owner promised to have it done by the next day, November 28, 2024.
I visited his shop on that day, and he promised to have it done before 6 p.m. It did not happen. On November 29, 2024, I went to pick up my cushion in whatever state it was and to get a refund, but I was refused either. The owner, Mark Eric, said he would have it ready within one, two, three, or four hours or maybe the next day. That same day, I sent him a text complaining about the missed deadlines and the lack of professionalism, and I was given a new deadline of December 1, 2024.
