Kozacko and both were done perfectly, even though both of my implant scenarios were a bit more complex than is the norm.

Dishonest and shady office staff has turned this once amazing dentistry office to shambles. When…read morethey stopped accepting my insurance and did not inform me of it was the turning point. First they sent me a bill from an appointment that was 6 months prior for charges that I had no knowledge of - they backtracked and said they don't take my insurance anymore and I needed to pay it. No, that's not how this works! I paid what I was supposed to pay when I was there, they wanted even more after 6 months?!? The way I found out was when my daughter went for her appointment and they told her it would be somewhere around $100 for what we had been paying $0 previously. No notice! I told her to get back in her car and come home, do not go sit in that chair for your cleaning! The office staff had the audacity to tell me they would charge me for a no show if she didn't stay, somewhere around $100. I laughed, and told her that it is on them for not informing us of their change in accepting our insurance and to come find me for that missed appointment charge - please, come find me! That was the end of going there. It's a shame. I liked Dr Adams, he was nice. It's the lack of communication with the patients in which they lack that led me to find another provider. Touché

It turns out, multiple aspects of dental work by Dr Adams was incomplete and done very poorly. After years of an infection that broke into my sinuses, I went to see a specialist who immediately identified the poor work. He also knew exactly who did the work, as he has had to help other former patients of Dr Adams with similar issues. Thousands of dollars, multiple procedures, and multiple health issues later, I am back on track and healthy. As a side warning - over the years, I have posted about this experience on provider review sites. Those reviews, and others I would see about similar botched work by Dr Adams, have since been removed.

We have returned four times, driving from our home forty-five minutes away. Three of the four times were futile, as nothing was done but X-rays. Another time the cadaver bone process had failed, so no implant, just another incision in his gums with stitches and antibiotics. No information was given as to the process for having an implant, and no patient information was available when I asked. The doctor and the assistant looked at me in seeming disbelief that I had asked for information to read. There should be some type of informative literature offered to explain step by step what will happen. So far, it's been eight months since the tooth extraction with no implant yet!

As a parent, you want the best for your child as she needed two teeth extracted for braces from Zaytoun Orthodontics. I have read all the reviews in regards for Dr. Eric Hoverstad before decided to come in for a consultation. The Consultation: The office was very easy to find as it is conveniently located at North Hills on 3809 Computer Drive suite 101. I was very impressed with the office's contemporary decor and knew right away that I have made the right decision. The receptionist, Amber was so friendly and explained in detail on my insurance coverage and what the differences in payment with anesthesia. Amber made us felt at ease with her bubbly personality and contagious laugh. As we were led to the back, I couldn't believe how spacious the rooms were. The office was equipped with the highest technology, and even the music (today's hits, not that elevator music) was surround sound. Additionally, the x-rays was quick and then was displayed on the big tv monitor from the exam chair. Dr. Eric Hoverstad came in and greeted us and he is super friendly and humble. Dr. Hoverstad is young and you can't help but to admire his fashion style. He wears nice shoes. Not to mention, we tried not to gaze eye contact for too long as Dr. Hoverstad is handsome, pretty boy like a Ken Doll. Overall, he is extremely nice, and we did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Hoverstad took the time and explained the extraction procedure, the pros and cons of numbing verses anesthesia. He was patient and answered every questions and concerns I had as a parent. Teeth Extraction: On the day of surgery, we were already comfortable and felt at ease knowing that my daughter would be in good care from the incredible staff. Felicia and Tyler made my daughter very comfortable before going under, and got her a blanket to keep her warm as her body temperature dropped from going under anesthesia. My daughter remembered Dr. Hoverstad had asked her what music she wanted to listen too, she wanted to request KPop (Korean pop music) but before she could answer, she had already went to sleep. The procedure was 45 minutes and Felicia and Tyler thoroughly explained the proper care and changing out the gauze as needed after leaving the office. The extracted teeth was cleaned and placed in a sterile autoclave bag with detailed instructions on easing the pain, and how to clean the extracted sites. Dr. Hoverstad came in post operation and made sure I didn't leave the office with any doubts and said I could call the office anytime if there was any concerns. The post op surgery went very well and the recovery was fast. Felicia and Tyler both helped us out to the car which I had to park out back. That is a good thing, because that's protecting my daughter as she was still semi sedated from the nitrous "laughing gas." Post Op Follow Up: We were back the following week for the post op check up. Most places did not have post op check ups, which I was impressed the how Dr. Hoverstad and the awesome staff had taken the time with each patient to check up on how things were healing from post surgery. Recommendation: I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Eric Hoverstad, DDS at North Hills Implant and Oral Surgery. Thank you to the STAFF: Thank you to the friendly staff: Amber, Felicia, and Tyler for always being so kind and providing exceptional patient care in a relaxed, convenient setting. I wish I could come all the time but we would have no more teeth left to be extracted if we did ^_~

I spoke to Stephanie who was extremely friendly. Stephanie was able to help me figure out my insurance information since I did not have my dental card with me at the time. To my surprise, Stephanie was able to book me an opening that same week for a routine cleaning. Stephanie entered my patient information while on the phone with me, and directed me to go on Midtown Dental home page to fill out additional information to save time when I come in. On the day of my appointment, I was greeted by the friendly staff and I did not wait long to be called. Due to my busy schedule I had forgotten to fill out the additional patient forms on line, but Stephanie remembered who I was and had all the paperwork ready for me. She is very detailed oriented and I was impressed! I went in for my first time at Midtown Dental and everything was very professional. I am a total wimp when it comes to dental stuff and it was one of the best experiences I've had. Kim was my dental hygienist and she explained what she was doing to help ease my nervousness. You can say I am old fashioned but I was more interested in the technology that had advanced over the years. My X Rays were done at the chair and I did not have to get up like what they did back in the days. Kim was very gentle when she cleaned my teeth and even asked what flavor toothpaste I wanted. I opted for the birthday cake flavor! I think that was the best part because I have not tried that flavor before. I found out I have a few cavities from letting myself go these last couple of years without seeing a dentist, but it's nothing a few fillings can't fix. It's all in my back teeth so it's not like I could see them, but I can feel them when I eat anything cold or sweet. This is absolutely why dental care and health is so important! Kim also explained that the dentist will come in and check everything out. Dr. Seth Rumley is so awesome! Dr. Rumley performed a courtesy exam as a secondary check on the thyroid glands and make sure there are no signs of mouth and throat cancer. I thought that was cool. Dr. Rumley took the time and answered my questions and concerns. I did not feel rushed at all. We also discussed a ton of the science behind dentistry and my personal dental proceedures! It was so interesting! My teeth are apparently in great shape! Upon checking out, Stephanie even remembered that I like to see the cost up front and printed out an invoice of what my cavity fill in would cost for my next appointment. Stephanie took the time to check how much my insurance would cover and how much out of pocket rxpenseI would pay because I do not like them surprise fees. That way, I can have a clear understanding of how much I have to pay that was not covered by my insurance. Stephanie is very attentive to the client's needs. Overall Dr. Rumley, dental hygienist Kim and the whole Midtown Dental team is amazing! I forgot the other two receptionists names but by gosh, the ladies are so nice and friendly! I can't wait to come back for my cavity fill in and have my cosmetic crown fix since I won't be as nervous the next time around. I highly recommend Midtown Dental for all of your dental needs. Update on service on January 31, 2018 I was greeted by the friendly administrator, Tara as I walked in as she already remembered who I was. I did not have to sign in or anything. That was very impressive. Not even 2 minutes of waiting, Dental hygienist Jean came out and called my name. Jean made sure I was comfortable and offered me to get me a blanket after seeing me covering my feet with my jacket so I can stay warm. Jean was very attentive! She explained that Dr. Razavi would perform my cavities fill in. Upon meeting Dr. Razavi, he was very friendly and nice and took the time to explained everything to me during the cavity fill in procedure. He was very gentle and that really helped to ease my nervousness as my cavities was drilled and filled in. The procedure did not even take that long. Dr. Razavi made sure I did not have any further questions and he was not in a hurry to rush out to his next patient. The staff at Midtown Dental really makes you feel very welcome and are very attentive to your needs and discomforts. Afterwards, I was checked out by the other friendly administrator name Karen. I was sure to ask for the ladies names again so I would not forgot when I'm updating this review. I am very happy to have found a dental office that I really enjoyed coming too. I highly recommend Midtown Dental.
