Dr. Kozacko performed a wisdom teeth extraction on my son and he now has permanent nerve damage. After 2 years he still has a numb lower lip with no sensation. Office is old school and doesn't offer or use any newer technologies to avoid these possible complications. We were never informed of any possible complications that could occur due to nerve damage. During the consultation they put you in a tiny room and make you watch a 1990's video on the procedure. Not until after he realized he had nerve damage did he tell us this was a complication that could occur and made me sign a waiver for him to continue to treat him for post surgical infections. Do your research on newer technologies offered for this surgery before choosing this practice. Other practices in the area are more up-to-date technologies that can avoid complications of taking out wisdom teeth that are impacted. I regret ever using this practice or physician. read more

I am not the patient but my wife is. Not sure what the issue was, or what happened with the women who rated this office one star but our experience was completely different. My wife broke a tooth and there was not enough left to put a crown on it. She was able to get an appointment with this office and they went over a number of things on the phone before we ever came in. Once we arrived we were greeted and everything was explained very thoroughly and our questions were answered. The office is very well organized and everyone was professional on our visit. Not all of the services were covered by our insurance but that was explained to us. We paid at the time of service and were given complete aftercare instructions. I see no issues with the office but everyone has their own experience and everyone is allowed their opinion. read more

My family and I have been going to Dr. Kozacko for quite a few years. Every aspect of his practice is professional and top notch. I have had two implants done by Dr. Kozacko and both were done perfectly, even though both of my implant scenarios were a bit more complex than is the norm. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and again, the work was done correctly with no issues. Dr. Kozacko is highly skilled and a perfectionist. He takes the time to explain each step of the treatment plan and is very patient in answering questions. When you leave his office, you feel confident that you have received the best care and that every intricate detail was addressed. Dr. Kozacko's professionalism extends to his office team as well. Dr. Kozacko and his staff took out 7 of my daughters wisdom teeth. 7! I dreaded the procedure but to my pleasant surprise , he had prepped her so well before ,during and after that it was a BREEZE! Staff was rude and will make you feel ridiculous when you ask questions. The Dr. Mark is a jerk and has an entitled attitude. Please stay away. You're not a robot. You're human and can feel pain. You definitely deserve to be treated better. He obviously gotten too comfortable to care about his patients so please find a different person who will treat you with respect and kindness. Who will actually care about you and not use a cookie cutter method on you. I honestly wish I read about him before going. Negative google reviews about him is pretty accurate and his assistant. You'll spend like 10 minutes maximum with the dr. himself, then 10 minutes with his assistant. The rest is waiting and watching an old video on the procedure. They'll get your x-ray taken. Overall experience there made me more nervous so please take yourself to a better place. You'll thank me later! read more

I have had two surgeries at Dr. Kozacko's office and both went very smoothly. The staff is attentive and they were patient and understanding about my anxiety about the sedation and eased my fears. The doctor was efficient and kind and the procedure went very smoothly. The front office staff helped me work out the financials and I even had a follow up visit at no charge so they could be sure I was healing properly. This is definitely the staff I would entrust for my children's wisdom teeth extractions after the excellent care I received at Dr. Kozacko's office, and I will be returning for my own implant procedures as well. I do not write many reviews, but my treatment at Dr. Kozacko's office was outstanding and deserves big kudos. I had a failed root canal. I urgently needed an extraction and later would need an implant installed. A friend recommended Dr. Kozacko to me. He had some really good reviews especially regarding sedation. I was a little worried about being put to sleep, but decided to give it a try. I went to sleep fast and woke up to smiling faces telling me it was all over. I could not believe it. I was given some pain medication, but I ended up not using much of it. I have had no problems at all with my implant. Thank you Dr. Kozacko and staff for such a good experience. I waited too long (age 26) and my wisdoms were big, deep, and rooty. Dr. Kozacko was very attentive and informative, and seemed to care about my concerns. I had a lot of pain from the extensive extraction and I was given good pain meds plus a refill. To my surprise, NO facial bruising, and the swelling was well controlled. The stitches were SO uncomfortable but when they dissolved and I was able to see everything, I felt that the work done was very neat and clean considering what was done. He gave me lots of guidance on what to do on the go when back at work. I am so very satisfied and would gladly do it again here if the teeth magically grew back LOL read more

Took my daughter there to have her wisdom teeth pulled. The staff was just so knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone in that office always had a smile on their face and just willing to answer any questions. The two young ladies at the front desk are just as sweet as can be. No matter how many times I called with what seemed to me as probably stupid questions, they were as patient and very helpful. Dr. K was very professional, and took the time to explain everything to my daughter and I about the procedure and what it consisted of. I don't like dentists this is me personally, and I know my daughter has very bad anxiety, this office and its staff made us both feel so comfortable!! I can honestly say that I would recommend this doctor to anyone that's reading this and to all my friends. I would recommend this office if you have children or for anyone with bad anxiety they're perfect because they actually care about you as a person not only as a patient. Dr. Kozacko is a great doctor and has good office staff. However, their medical billing practices are questionable. Prior to having ANY procedure done in this office, make certain to find out what your out of pocket costs are; otherwise you will be charged upfront, and it will take an act of Congress to get your money refunded to you. The person in their billing department is very difficult to deal with, and he will not give you the refund due to you until he has collected every penny from your insurance company. My billing was processed incorrectly by him, and I've been waiting four months for my refund, all because he processed my medical claim based on assumption that my insurance company would not pay for my surgery. He even blamed my insurance company when it was his mistake. When I've called, he seems annoyed, and even told me that; "I was on top of my bill". Of course I am on top of my bill - it's my money! His abrasive approach, sly remarks, and poor billing practices have convinced me to take my business elsewhere. Dr. Kozacko should not allow this! read more
