I highly recommend you skip this place unless you want to be in pain. My dentist Dr. Shen tried to extract my tooth but couldn't then Dr. Casebier jumped in they worked on it for hours . Did I mention it was one tooth and now my jaw is damaged because of it. I was recommended to this place because my coworker trusted them but the only thing I trust is my hygienist cleaning my teeth. All I wanted was to be taking care of professionally and treated respectfully but I didn't get that here . My wife, Lenke (who is Hungarian), recently had four implants placed in Hungary. One came loose soon after we returned to the U.S., and her dentist back in Hungary assured us it was likely just a quick fix requiring a common 1.25 mm hex driver. Unfortunately, another local dentist (Triangle Family Dentist in Apex) told us it would be a long, expensive ordeal--potentially costing thousands--and actually suggested Lenke fly back to Hungary. Their dismissive attitude and lack of empathy made the whole situation feel demeaning, especially given Lenke's foreign background. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Everything about my visit was wonderful. The front desk was pleasant, took great care of insurance and efficient with check in, check out, and scheduling a return appointment around my schedule. My hygienist, Wendy, really knew her profession and was a wealth of info. She explained new equipment, X-rays and answered all questions. Dr Casebier is so friendly and truly interested in whatever you may talking about, in my case my 4 granddaughters! He is thorough and explains everything. I went in for a routine cleaning in August, and was told by the hygienist that she would "love" for me to get Bone Scaling, but the dentist that checked me out told me everything looked good and was "within healthy limits". Without hearing something along the lines of "this is medically necessary", I was not scheduling a procedure that I knew nothing about and didn't understand why this was needed. Meanwhile, I later found out that x rays were not performed during this visit which would have clearly indicated whether or not this was medically necessary. Fast forward several months and my daughter and I have our next cleaning scheduled as we have 3 dental cleanings approved per year. First, the office cancels our appointment so that they can have a staff meeting, which caused us to schedule two separate appointments or it would have taken months to get two appointments at the same time again. Then, within about a week of our appointments, I received a voice mail stating that they wanted to call to discuss pricing for Bone Scaling, and the second call was to notify me that we didn't have approval for our scheduled cleanings. After explaining that I have 3 approved cleanings per year and asking her to please call insurance to verify benefits if they had a question, I assumed we were good for our upcoming appointments. My daughter was scheduled to go in the day before my appointment, and I called that morning to let them know that she will not be checking herself out as she is 16 and a minor and I will check out for the both of us the next day. She comes home after her appointment with a product that no one discussed with me and they also kept pressuring her to redo her retainers from her orthodontist and kept saying things like "well we are cheaper". Fortunately, she's a smart kid and she said no, but this should never have been discussed with her and they should have called me right away. The next day, I get a call about 2 hours prior to my scheduled appointment and they ask me if I would like to have Bone Scaling done during my appointment instead of my scheduled cleaning since my regular hygienist was not there today. I was well aware that my hygienist was not there the day and I explained that I had no interest in Bone Scaling until I spoke with my prior dentist that sold the practice. I expressed my concern over all that had transpired and explained that I was only coming in for my cleaning that day. I made it very clear that I did not want to discuss this while I was there as all of this felt very wrong, pushy and not medically necessary. We agreed that I would come in for my cleaning as scheduled. Well, I get to the appointment and the hygienist introduces herself and explains that my hygienist is not there that day and that she sees that Bone Scaling was recommended at my last appointment. I explain to her that the word specifically used was that she would "love" for me to have that done, and that until I have reviewed this with my prior dentist who I trust, I am not having this done. With an attitude, she tells me that my dentist is no longer there and these two other dentists are now there and she will be the one to decide if I need this done. I should have walked out then and there, but I let her examine me (if you want to call it that). She pokes me 3 times with the sharp metal instrument and asks me if it hurts. Each time I let her know that it does not hurt. On the third stab, she goes "oh, you are a bleeding, I have to get the dentist". Dr. P comes into the room and starts off by saying "I see that your hygienist "insert name" recommended Bone Scaling". I explain to him everything above, including the conversation I had two hours prior where I did not give my consent to come to the appointment that day for Bone Scaling and he explains to me that I am putting the license of the hygienist at risk if I have an underlying medical condition. I ask him if I have such a serious medical condition, why has no one contacted me in 4 months and why did he specifically tell me that my gum health was within normal limits at my last appointment. He said that he doesn't check gums, only teeth and basically had no response other than that. I let him know that I did not feel comfortable any longer and I was leaving. I called back the next day to explain to the person I spoke with the the day prior on the phone and she said " YOU GOT BAMBOOZLED". If all of that wasn't bad enough, they submitted a fraudulent claim to my Dental Insurance for an exam, which the dentist never administered and is required to be considered an exam. It has been 4 weeks since I walked out of that office, and I was able to visit the new office of my prior dentist. The majority of my measurements were between a 1-3, which is perfect gum health. X-rays were also performed, and my bones are also 100% healthy with no signs of bone loss. Bone Scaling is the furthest thing from being required! read more

Finally got around to finding a local dentist and I am so happy with my decision! The staff were so welcoming and truly made me feel like all my needs were going to be met that day without hesitation. The hygeniest explained each process and why we were doing what we were doing (yes, I have been to a dentist before but this was just exceptional) and took all the pictures needed so that I can even see my progress in a problem we are about to start working on. Dr. Wilkie was very professional and made sure I wasn't in any pain throughout the procedure also.
