His manner changed immediately and he referred her to one of his colleagues who does total knee replacements. As I had first met Dr Mariscalco when he joined Orthova in my capacity as an anesthesiologist and he struck me at the time as having a good bedside manner, I was gravely disappointed at the arrogant way he treated my wife

After two and a half months of physical therapy I am now back to walking 3 miles and doing multiple exercises. My Therapist Dr. Kelley was excellent along with the exercise physiologists Gabby, Gabrielle and Adrienne. The office staff was always pleasant when arriving and leaving after therapy. Dr. Herzog and his staff were EXCELLENT! My last post op appointment was today. I told Dr. Herzog I would do it all again to find the relief I found with the surgery. Thank you Dr. Herzog and staff! Unfortunately, I have had many visits to this location, but each time the service has been great…read more This time I went, and they were doing some renovations. With the renovations, everything is literally a mess: wet paint, random contractors in and out. ,As a result of all the moving parts, the wait time was more than advertised. When I arrived, the wait time was 15 minutes, but it took closer to 40 minutes to be seen. Once I got to an exam room, everything went sort of quickly from there. My vitals were taken, I received an X-ray, talked to the doctor, and got a splint in 30 minutes or less. Overall, the care was great, and the doctor and staff were thorough and knowledgeable. Once renovations are complete, I am hopeful the process will be more streamlined.

I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN…read more My son is disabled and they threatened to call the police on him when he was returning my brace. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY. Improper fit for a $200.00 knee brace that slid to my ankle and became a trip hazard. Went back the next day with the brace and a letter. I asked my son to bring it inside because my torn Miniscus was burning. They would not take it, wouldn't let him leave it, called it " his trash", threatened to call the police. He ran out of there. The bag with the brace had a letter in it from me. I told my son to throw it on the sidewalk in front of the clinic. I was in severe pain and didn't drive 30 minutes for this. I had already found one I got 18 months ago in Blacksburg. It stays up. They changed my Ortho Doctor appointment to that I had in 4 days to March. It has been two weeks of excruciating pain already. The Diclofenac pills that the physician assistant ordered do NOTHING. It hurts worse. Inconsistent care quality. I had made a plan with the Ortho Virginia knee department to go to Ortho On Call first and the see a real doctor in a few days. They pushed my appointment back 2 1/2 weeks! I changed it back to the same day myself. Useless.
