The office is divided in two spaces; area for adults and another area for children. When you walk in the waiting area it is bright and spacious, which included an easel, small table for writing, tv, and stuffed animals. After filling out the paper, Dr. Lam made his presence known as he formally introduced himself to us and our toddler. He sat down and spoke with us about his special technique with young children . At least 15-20 minutes later, my toddler had warmed up to him. We then walked to exam room and of course she was hesitant, however, she cooperated with them. They were able to get an X ray and he was able to examine her teeth with some coaching/sweet talk. Did she cry? Yes! Did she clench her mouth closed? Yes! Did they get the job done? Yes! I noticed she did less kicking, shouting, and screaming compared to last dental visit elsewhere. When finished she sat in the exam chair and played with the stuffed animals.
